Calvados Heights is a Caribbean holiday rental villa on the southern side of Antigua where it is perched on the edge of Turtle Bay. The property has magnificent tropical gardens that surround the kidney shaped swimming pool and commands superb views of Montserrat and the coast of Antigua. It is a split level development in a peaceful and private position comprising a main house and a garden flat.
The main house can be rented for 4 to 6 people, while the garden apartment accommodates 2 people. The air conditioned apartment is self contained with its own entrance from the driveway. The well-fitted kitchen leads to a large bedroom/living room giving a maximum of comfort. The bathroom and shower are well equipped. The accommodation has its own balcony surrounded by tropical gardens and private steps lead directly to the swimming pool below.
The Master Bedroom is airconditioned and has a King-sized bed, a dressing room that also leads to a dome bathroom and a private terrace with steps down to the pool. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe and is also air conditioned. Both bathrooms are en suite, with shower, wash basin, hot and cold water and low level wc. The Master Bathroom has a bidet. The unusual dome is a feature.
The large living room (30’ x 20’) leads to an open verandah. There is a colonnade of arches that lead to the bedrooms. The living room is comfortably furnished with antiques.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker, large fridge and deep freeze, dish washer and breakfast bar.
The main dining area is alfresco, approached from the kitchen via the roof garden, and seats 6-8 people in comfort. Here you can enjoying the views of the garden and the ocean with sailing yachts that pass in front. The living room veranda also has a round table for dining which seats four. It is a comfortable open plan area for sitting - the ideal spot for a sun downer.
The large kidney-shaped pool has deck with plenty of room for sun-bathing and is surrounded by gardens. The pool is approached by 2 staircases.
The house and apartment are never rented simultaneously to separate parties at the same time. Your privacy is respected at all times.

What an incredible villa you have! The pictures on the website don't do it justice. From the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks below, to sharing breakfast on the veranda with the hummingbirds, to seeing the butterflies dance around all the beautiful plants you have surrounding the property with one word comes to mind: spectacular. You are the comensurate host. From your inaurgural get aquainted home made "rum punch" to your concierge service of making all our dinner reservations, you are truly what I consider an "english gentleman". You were gracious enough to guide our daily decision making after listening to what we wanted to do. You need to let other renters know that you have lived on the island for over 25 years. This wealth of information kept us from making the usual "tourist" vacation mistakes. The restaurants, the beaches, the views, the sights, the people you know all made this holiday most memorable. Thank you and special thanks to your dog, Honda, who loved to check in on us occasionally to make sure we were doing fine.
