I must say that our stay was the most fun I had in a very long time. Memo, Claudia and the other staff were absolutely incredible, 5 star!!!!. The house was extremely beautiful and so clean. The views were off the charts. I look forward to our next vacation at Villa Noche!!!!!! What an incredible vacation.....Once again our hats off to the staff. Memo and Claudia were unbelievable!!!

Where do I begin? One word FANTASTIC!!! I own a vacation rental property in Palm Beach and whenever I travel I look for things I can change and make my vacation rental better and what they can change to make their vacation rental better. I found nothing that was lacking in this home. it is perfect. The staff Memo, Claudia, and others were very accommodating and pleasurable. Whatever your desire Memo can make it happen. He took us every where and every place we went they knew Memo. We encouraged Memo to run for Mayor of San Juan Del Sur. If we needed anything anytime of day Memo went out and got it. The home is well maintained along with the pool and spa. It is a great house for 2 singles guys like us or a family, it has lots of places to be by yourself and take in the views, meditate in peace and relax. Best sunsets ever. The food that Claudia and memo prepared was always like being in a 5 star restaurant, we only ate lunch out once otherwise we ate at the home. Travis the owner was more than helpful he answered all our questions and gave us advice on our trip. Thank you Travis. We are already planning our next trip to Nicaragua to enjoy this home. If you are planning a trip to Nicaragua there is only one place to stay and that is Villa Noche. Claudia and Memo thank you so much for making our trip so enjoyable.

The house was absolutely amazing and the staff did a great job accommodating to our needs. Memo took us into town when needed, which was very helpful since we didn't have a car rental. I would absolutely recommend this rental property to anyone that is looking to have complete relaxation and be taken care of. The menu and the food was great. Five out of five stars

Pending review I just got back with 4 other girlfriends from San Juan del Sur and we had the most incredible time! Travis' house was so much more than we could have ever hoped for. The pictures do NOT do it justice. The pool is amazing, its HUGE! The beds are so comfortable. There is tons of space during the day, if you want shade there is an outdoor couch, if you want to be in the sun there are MASSIVE sunbeds! The views are breathtaking. It has one of the best sunsets i have ever seen! Travis was super accomoodating and was easy to get in touch with to answer any questions we had before we left. The best part were the people that worked at the house, they were so kind and accommodating. You must ask Memo to make the ceviche, it is heavenly! I can hardly wait to go back again!

Just got back from SJDS and we had a great time. Villa Noche is beautiful and the staff (Memo, Claudia, and Armando) could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They really took care of us. You really do have a fantastic location.......never seen such beautiful sunsets. The town of San Juan del Sur was great for us. It is still not really developed (which we liked very much) so it is not full of thousands of tourists. Even though our Spanish was poor, the people were very nice to us and it was a real pleasure. We have done a lot of travelling in our time, including many trips to the Caribbean and Mexico, and this trip was one of our very best. We were so impressed with the food in the restaurants in town (and at the villa) and how reasonable the prices were. We also enjoyed our sunset cruise and fishing trip, and "Captain" Joey took great care of us. All in all, a simply wonderful time.

Best active and relaxing vacation ever

Villa Noche sits atop a hillside over looking the pacific ocean. The villa is very open and spacious with a constant sea breeze through out the villa. My favorite part of this vacation was awaking and falling asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing below. Also having my morning coffee on the balcony and getting my thoughts together for the day. The staff was very accommodating and pleasurable to be around. We took day excursions to the nearby beaches where we would go surfing, fishing trips on the Aquaholic and a ferry ride across Lake Nicaragua to check out the volcanoes. We kept our day trips somewhat short so we could come back and enjoy some relaxing time by the infinity pool. It was by far one on my best vacations ever and I can not wait to go back next year!

Why would one leave Paradise?

We had a wonderful time at your place. Other than going out with the family for dinner one evening, I did not leave the place. Why would one leave paradise? There were numerous places at your house which provided a variety of spectacular views of the ocean and bay from different locations while at the same time allowing for the comfort of being separate from other activities that were taking place. The architecture is wonderful. Who designed it for you? It is practical as well as beautiful. You must have had a wonderful builder. The privacy of its location is to be treasured. I like rounded spaces and lots of room and your place more than fulfilled my wishes. I was also impressed with your staff and how well your home is maintained, which is not easy in that climate. Even when there was other family at the house there were lots of places to be by yourself and take in the view, comfort and peace. My husband was enthusiastic about the open spaces and extra-large chairs. It was a big treat for him, being 6’4” to not only have chairs that are not built for small people, but even to allow his feet to “dangle”. What a pleasant contrast. We have stayed at a variety of vacation places throughout the world: Fiji, Australia, England, Portugal, Kenya, Italy, Shanghai, Vietnam and many others. This space suited us the best. We have previously stayed at attractive places in Nicaragua and enjoyed them, but your house is the winner. We took lots of pictures and have been showing them to friends. The relaxation mode and extra rest that I was provided suited me, given my recent work schedule.

I stayed at Villa Noche from oct 26 to oct 30, the experience was unbelievable, the house and the views are very pretty but the staff of house and boat made the stay unforgettable, they really go the extra mile to make you feel good and welcome. I will definetly go back and will encourage anyone to visit this house without reserve, you will have the best time of your life. Thanks for giving me those beautiful four days. Alfredo

Villa noche is the ideal rentAl house in San Juan del sur, Nicaragua. The rental house has an incredible view of the most scenic town in nicaragua and the pacific ocean. The Amazing view is only rivaled by the outstanding rental house staff of memo, Armando, and Claudia. They made myself, along with my wife and two children, feel like royalty. The staff meet our every need and guided us into the town of san juan del sur nucaragua and to distant beautiful beaches. There is nothing like going to sleep at ville noche and hearing the pacific ocean!

Amazing house- amazing staff-- the perfect vacation

The pictures on the listing don't do this villa justice. Breathtaking views from almost every room. The house is stunning. A fully equipped kitchen, large comfortable beds, top of the line furniture. The wireless worked everywhere in the house and was super fast. The house sits on a cliff overlooking the pacific. Peaceful but convenient with town only a few minute drive away. I can't say enough about the staff-- Claudia, Armando and Memo... Aside from cooking great meals (banana pancakes and fresh juice for breakfast, lobster dinners) and keeping the house spotless they played endlessly with my toddler-- taking her swimming, showing her the gardens and animals near by. We both cried when we left. A true 5 star stay in a 3rd world country. ALC Pensacola, FL

Wow … wow… wow. We wanted to let you know what a truly fabulous stay we had at Villa Noche. The house is absolutely gorgeous – and the view is unbelievable!! We felt like celebrities for the week. Nothing beats waking up to that ocean view...not to mention enjoying delicious meals (especially fresh pina coladas - thanks to Armando, lobster, and homemade guacamole). We had planned on venturing out more but had a hard time leaving the villa. Definitely a trip we will never forget and will absolutely do again! Thanks!Laura, David, Carlos & Carly

Sublime - the only word to describe a sunset viewed from Villa Noche. Watching the sky paint itself pink and orange as the sun drops away is the perfect end to a laid back day on the waves or the start of a lively night in SJdS. There's not an uncomfortable spot in the place, and if there were, the adorable Memo and Armando would quickly see to it along with anything else you need to make your stay even more incredible. The food is delicious - holding its own with any restaurant down the hill, and served with a view that leaves every table in town envious. Whether your plans for Nica are surf, fish, or chill - Villa Noche is a once in a life time experience, best repeated often. Thank you for a lovely time. -Karn SF, CA

Villa Noche is beyond awesome! The large open house, the beautiful pool, the relaxing Jacuzzi, the tropical landscaping, the Pacific Ocean view with the sound of the waves rolling in, the view of the quaint fishing village of San Juan del Sur with the boats anchored in the bay and the houses trailing up the mountain side, the colorful parrots and the macaw, Memo and all of the wonderful meals and Joey and the fishing trip on the Aquaholic ~ what a wonderful week we had!!!!!! In addition to all the great meals Memo prepared, he was also a wonderful driver for our day trips to the historical city of Granada, the volcano and craft center of Massaya , the quaint floral center of Catarina, the beach at Playa Coco and the capitol city of Managua. I could go on and on about sighting the huge turtles coming in to lay their eggs or Lake Nicaragua and the archipelago of hundreds of small islands or the beautiful old cathedrals, but you just need to go see it all for yourself. My wife and I were lucky enough to arrange our honeymoon at Villa Noche. We arrived at night driving in the dark not knowing what to expect, when we arrived at the house it was AMAZING, cool sea breeze blowing through the warm night, incredible ocean views in nearly all directions, and the sounds of the ocean made this a perfect romantic getaway. It was so peaceful, a week of total relaxation. Also the food was awesome, Memo prepared fresh fish, shrimp, and fruit, while my wife could eat less 'adventurous' food (chicken fingers, spagetti) The staff was so accomadating and helpful. I recommend this place to all because you can have a lazy hang out by the pool trip, or enjoy the nearby activities like surfing, fishing, and canopy tours. Fishing was terrific we caught fish till we couldn't reel them in anymore! It was an unforgettable trip for my wife and I, we are sure to visit again. We just want to thank the staff who made it so easy to relax, and Travis for helping arrange the trip of a lifetime.

As winners of a charity auction, we had an opportunity to spend a week in Nicaragua at Villa Noche. Enamored with the lovely photos of the place, we did everything we could to win the auction. The auction took place in spring of 2007. We didn't have a chance to go until February 2008. Between the time we won the auction and the time we started planning for the trip, the pictures of Villa Noche were long forgotten. Instead, reading the government's website about traveling to Nicaragua, particularly, travel warnings, filled us with trepidation. We don't believe in living in a bubble, so we threw caution to the wind, packed our bags, and off we went with our 12 and 13 year old kids. The first thing that greeted us, was perfectly warm-hot temperature. Not humid, not too hot. Coming from freezing New England winter weather, it felt perfect. The drive from the airport to the house was quite an experience. Bumpy roads, dodging slow-moving vehicles, people, dogs, etc. was nothing compared to the last half mile. Hair spin turns and steep inclines, had us holding our breath; the price for staying in a home that sits high up on a mountain with a view. We got used to it after a few trips to and from town. The best word to describe the home is, "comfortable." Spacious living areas, breathtaking views, sunshine all around, super comfortable seats and hammocks made it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. Best word to describe the home's view is, "spectacular." Most rooms, all balconies and the swimming pool swimming pool have a "post card" view of the Pacific ocean. We made every effort to be in the pool each day to watch the sunset. It felt decadent to have the pool and the sunsets to ourselves. Best of all, we didn't have to lift a finger. Housekeeper cleans the home, makes the bed daily and assists the chef. Grounds keeper cleans the pool and opens and closes the gate as you drive to/from the home. And jack-of-all-trades, Memo, did whatever we asked. Memo is a trained-chef who prepared our meals with the help of the housekeeper. He also met us at the airport and we followed him to the house. When we took a day trip to Granada and volcano sightseeing, we had Memo drive us as we didn't know the area. We also had an opportunity to go on a day trip on Villa Noche's boat. Very comfortable and enjoyable ride. Best of all, we didn't have to lift a finger! Picnic lunch was alrea

Our family just returned from Villa Noche yesterday. Still trying to readjust to real life but wanted to get a quick email off to you to express our delight and our gratitude for our wonderful and unforgettable stay!! Please pass this on to Travis. Villa Noche and its staff was way beyond our expectations! The architecture and the views were amazing. Memo, Valeria and Flavio were so warm, gracious and attentive that we hated to say goodbye. The food was excellent! Our every need was met and then some! Please tell Travis that he is one lucky man to have found such a wonderful staff. Also tell him that his taste is excellent! The floor plan, decor and views are just marvelous. We hope to be able to return. There can be no better place in San Juan Del Sur than Villa Noche. I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Villa Noche. The property was perfect. The views, particularly the sunsets, from the house were absolutely stunning! The grounds were well kept and the infinity pool was incredible. Memo and Francisco were delightful and added a dimension to our trip that we wouldn't have known going it alone. The meals Memo prepared were delicious. Their care and attention was appreciated. This vacation was the perfect combination of luxury and adventure. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and napping in the hammocks. We were amazed by the variety of creatures. Your parrots and the neighbors monkey were quite entertaining! Having gone horseback riding, scuba diving, fishing on the Aquaolic, BBQ on a private beach, a massage at the house- One week was not nearly enough!! The only thing wrong with my wife and I staying at the Villa Noche is that we had to eventually come back home! The view from each room was breathtaking, especially the bedroom, and the amenities were amazing. So many places deemed as "ultimate getaways" turn out to be overcrowded tourist traps. Villa Noche was exactly what we wanted- a romantic quiet place that gave us plenty of space to "be alone". We spent our days fishing and surfing and everynight we had drinks by the pool and watched the sunset. It was truly amazing! We'll definitely be back! Thanks again!
