This vacation rental home is located less than four miles to Jenkinson Lake in Pollock Pines and only 25 miles from Sierra-At-Tahoe Ski Resort.
In the summer months, enjoy swimming, boating (bring your own or there are canoes, pedal boats, row boats, and kayaks for rent), water-skiing, wakeboarding, or fishing. You can catch mackinaw, rainbow trout, brown trout, bluegill, and smallmouth bass. The nearby rivers also offer great opportunities for Whitewater Rafting.
In the winter months you will have plenty of opportunity for skiing at one of the local ski resorts. Sierra at Tahoe is only 30 min. from this vacation home. Many others are located between Pollock Pines and South Lake Tahoe.
Apple Hill, a nearby town provides tasting rooms with award winning wines. Apple Hill is one of the two appellations within El Dorado County. The other is located south of Pollock Pines in scenic Fair Play - all within three miles of each other.
If you are looking for a great game of golf you can play at a truly championship golf course offering breathtaking views of nature. Or take a visit to Historic Placerville for Antique shopping or boutique hopping. Many restaurants and shops can be enjoyed. You may want to take a day trip up to South Lake Tahoe. This drive is only about 45 miles and will provide for lots of entertainment and gambling opportunities.
