This condo couldn't be in a better location. Only minutes from "Restaurant Row" and the main route to get into the heart of Myrtle Beach - everything in town is easy to get to. The deck of the condo has a fantastic front row view of the beach. You'll want to spend all your time on the deck, like we practically did! The condo is clean and comfortable and we really felt at home all week. The property grounds are kept neat. Although we didn't use the pool or the BBQ area, they looked enticing. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway and found it here. Sandy was great to deal with and I would absolutely rent from her again.

We had a wonderful time in Myrtle Beach. The sunrises from the living room are awe-inspiring. I liked the closeness to the beach (10 steps) and you are on the beach. Centrally located for golfing, shopping and dining. Kitchen well equipped for eating in. Golfers need to play Shaftesbury. Great course and close by. Owners very accommodating

Location, location, location. We has a wonderful October week of fun and sun. This is the perfect rental to enjoy breakfast and snacks on the porch overlooking the beach and beautiful sunrises. Being only steps from the beach makes it so convenient for quick trips to and from the condo and Shore Drive is close to all the action, but also far enough away from the crowds of downtown. Being on the first floor also made it easy to carry in and out all of our travel items. The condo was clean and comfortable and had cable tv and wireless internet and everything you would need for your stay. Sandy made all the arrangements easy. This was my third stay at A Place on The Beach and I have always enjoyed the location. Being the beach front unit this time just adds another level of enjoyment. As my girlfriend says, " we got to drink in the scenery everyday". We hated to leave our relaxing vacation but agreed to make this a regular destination in the future.

My husband and I spent two weeks here in September. The view and proximity to the beach can not be topped! Keyless entry system is an added convenience! We love staying on Shore Drive--quiet and uncrowded, yet only minutes to terrific restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions. We took a day trip south to Georgetown one day (only an hour away) and explored the Little River area to the north also. Owners are great to work with. We would stay here again, which is the best recommendation anyone can give!

What a perfect location! Every window looked out at the ocean. Deck overlooking beach is just perfect. Close to everything as far as restaurants, shopping etc. Sandy is great to work with. Will hopefully have the opportunity to stay again.

This condo unit is on the first floor and literally steps from the beach. You can not beat the great location and ocean front views! It was convenient not to have to lug our tent and baby gear too far. My family and I hope to stay there again sometime!

This was our first time to Myrtle Beach -- we will definitely return. You can walk out of the condo right onto the beach. Also the condo complex is in a great location -- close to shopping and restaurants and not a lot of traffic. Even with a few spring breakers (3rd week of April) it wasn't noisey. Awesome views of the beach and close to Apache Pier. We'll be back!!

The condo itself is very very nice. But it's location is just perfect. Right on the beach with gorgeous views from nearly every window! Wakeing up to glorious unobstructed sunrises is just heaven. The unit itself is clean, functional and laid out nicely. An open kitchen/living room and deck area offer a great space to spend time together yet giving everyone different options like cooking, watching tv or just gazing out at the ocean while enjoying a drink or reading a book. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were also very convenient as was the keyless entry system. The owner was great to deal with and all information provided was accurate. We just can't say enough about the location. This was our first time in the area and while there, we toured many spots and never found a better location than this one. It's not in the middle of the high rise district and sits near some other low-rise condo units on a dead end street. The beach is also cut-off on one side by a small water way. This kept our section of the beach rather secluded and not too heavily traveled. It provided a peaceful spot to relax while being close enough to everything if you wanted more action. We found it a very nice retreat from the more choatic and developed hotel row section. During February, the Myrtle Beach area is no where near capacity, which we prefer to crowds. Some places do close for the season but more remain open. Weather was great coming from the northeast. We left snow and freezing temperatures to being able to walk on the bech barefoot some days. We never needed anything more than a sweatshirt and temps ranged between high 40's in the early morning to the low 70's by 2 PM. There are many options for dining out but I must say we found the nicer places very expensive even compared to Boston. This was about the only negative surprise but given the condo- we able to blend staying in and going out in a very reasonable manner. I would highly recommend this place and there is no question we will return to this same unit again.

My husband and I enjoyed the condo for 2 weeks in October, 2010 and are ready to go back. Great location and we enjoyed the deck most of all. We also enjoyed the grilling area where we enjoyed meeting and spending time with some of the neighbors. The condo was clean and the grounds well kept. We look forward to renting this condo again.

Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone. The location to the beach is the best. A couple more stools on the deck would be nice- We had to fight for them but I usually won. The oweners were wonderful to deal with. Way to close to Ocean Annies (just kidding). Had a wonderful time.

Wonderful condo!...location,location,location-truly "right on the beach"...very clean [and I am fussy]..comfy king size bed...keyless entry was such a plus...2 very nice, clean, uncrowded pools...Ocean Annies right next door...the sand clean off station was so handy and not a hassle to use like some are..the air conditioning malfunctioned and the owners took care of it right away..the beach there is gorgeous..no "sea junk" on the beach-just ALOT of beatiful shells..we had great weather & one of the most relaxing vacations ever! Fantastic view from the deck in both the morning and evening, comfortable bed, great access to the beach and pools, short drive to restaurants and shops/outlets. Keyless entry, air conditioning, two bathrooms were a plus. Clean, relaxing, and enjoyable. Owner was extremely helpful and great to work with. We'll have no qualms about renting again.

The place was awsome the beach access was great just like it says right out the door. The keyless enrty was great having kids not worring about keys getting lost. This place is close to everything shops food you name it. I would highly recomend this place to anyone, my sister stayed 5 miles south of this condo and said the beach was dirty and not very safe they got stuff stolen right off the beach, we left are stuff out all day never had a problem. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!!!!! we have 3 kids 16,13,10 they had a great time nice rooms, kichen is good ( could have some more kichen utensils ) nice to have a kroger right down the road and a walmart to.

Cannot get closer to the beach

We had a wonderful stay at this property. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed waking up every morning and having our coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean, as well as our lunch and an evening cocktail-- so relaxing!! It is literally only steps out the door to the beach. It would be difficult to locate many other condo's that are this convenient. The location on Shore Drive is awesome with the marsh just behind the condo, and Ocean Annie's right next door. Grocery store and many restaurants are very close too. Sandy was very easy to work with and overall we were very pleased. We would definitely stay here again. We found the property clean and very comfortable, especially the comfy king size bed!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

If you are looking for a quiet place with an outstanding view -THIS IS IT! The ocean is so close you can almost touch it and the 180 degree view is amazing. The beach is lovely to walk on and the sound of the crashing waves are awesome. The deck get a lot of sunshine which is beautiful on a cooler day. Enjoy your stay.

It was very easy and secure using the HomeAway service. The pictures on the site were accurate as was the description. The condo was pleasingly decorated and had all of the comforts of home. Being on the first floor was great. From the balcony you can see the spectacular sunrise. The beach is just steps away, literally out the door and down the hall a few steps. We would love to stay here again.

The condo was clean, well maintained, and perfectly decorated for its surroundings. The view from the living room and balcony was beautiful and unobstructed. There were even some dolphins playing near the shore on the day that we arrived. It is a perfect location--a little more private but centrally located to all of the attractions.

We enjoyed our vacation at your "2nd home" very much. The key pad for entry is great, no fumbling with the key. We were very comfortable and felt very much at home. This unit has been our destination at Myrtle for the last 2 years. It is ideally situated with first floor access to the beach and a terrific view of the ocean from the living room and balcony. The owners take pride in keeping this unit in excellent condition, and engaging them in business is a pleasure. This is a more laid back location on the beach compared to the jammed beach experience of some of the large multi-story condos and hotels. Highly recommended!!

This condo (1H) has it all. 1st floor and right on the ocean! Literally steps to the beach. All the amenities that you need. Nice Master bedroom that has its own access to balcony. Wake up and see the ocean! Close to all attractions and our favorite spot...Barefoot Landing. I would recommend this condo to everyone. Thanks for a great time!

I really enjoyed this condo, you are on 1st floor with wonderful ocean front views. The area was peaceful and friendly with easy access to pool or beach.You are 3-5 mins away from restraunts, water parks and shopping. This is nice if needed or can stay in and have dinner with ocen view on porch.I would definitely book this unit again.

This was our 6th trip to Myrtle Beach and we were very happy with the condo. The view is spectacular!! Nice to be on the first floor and just steps to the beach. It's also so close to our favorite restaurants, shopping at Tanger, shows at Carolina Opry. Shore Drive area is one of the best places to stay. Definitely would recommend it. The owners are easy to work with and the electronic keypad was so much easier than carrying around keys.

My wife and I along with our daughter and her husband recently stayed in this condo. It was just what we wanted - a low-rise condo right on the beach. It was great for walking, enjoying the beach and the great scenery. It had all the conveniences of home and was very comfortable. Great restaurants, shopping and many attractions are only minutes away. We enjoyed our stay very much and would for sure go back.

My husband and I stayed at this condo a week in September 2007. It was the perfect location! It was right on the beach. You could just walk out your door. They had beach chairs and toys. It was also the perfect location for shopping and restaurants. I feel it was the best location we could have found and would not hesitate to stay there again!

This condo has it all - location, location, location! We have two teenagers who loved being so close to the beach and not too far from the action. They were able to go from the pool area to the beach as many times as they wanted in less than 2 minutes independently with no worries from us parents! Views of the beach are just as presented on the website. Fabulous vacation spot! Hope we can go back soon!

You can't beat this place at the beach, literally and figuretively! A view of the ocean, a clean place to stay, and a few steps to the beach...we love this condo and are returning renters. Very nice for a family vacation. We stayed in the condo October 2007. Clean and comfortable. Within steps to the shore and great viewing from all the windows. Balcony has high chairs so that you are not looking at a piece of wood or through the slats of the railing like in most lower chairs. Great view. Pools were clean. Location is off the beaten path on dead end street. Minutes from everything.

We stayed in this condo in June 2007 and had a great time! We are already reserved for next June. It is apparent that the owners take pride in their vacation home and are very easy to work with. It is well maintained and nicely furnished. Another plus is the electronic key pad lock...No more trading off the key with other family members,losing it in the sand or locking yourself out of the unit! You can't beat the location only steps from the sand ON THE FIRST FLOOR!!! We have been staying at various places in the Shore Drive area over the past 10yrs and find this condo to be a great value and a perfect location for a family vacation. Definately recommend this listing!
