Big Canoe is a resort community located just 1 hour north of Atlanta. Big Canoe offers 27 holes of golf, 3 lakes, and a 5 mile paved trail for walking or biking. It also has many natural outside hiking trails and a white sandy beach along an outdoor pool complex that adjoins a lake for swimming, canoes, and paddle boats! The resort has indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a racket ball court, and indoor Olympic swimming pool with a sauna and a huge fitness facility.
Furnishings in our 5 bedroom home are new and include rich leather furniture in great rooms, two televisions, a DVD player, three queen beds in separate bedrooms, all complete with 400 count sateen finish cotton sheets, and luxury bed coverings.
One full size and one twin size "bunk" bed in children's room. Three baths, a fully equipped Kitchen, and two dining tables that will seat 12 people total. Each bedroom on the main floor, as well as the Great Room, have a sliding glass door that leads out to the private deck.
The guest house is a detached unit with a king sized bed, full bathroom, living room with a sofa that converts into queen-sized bed, kitchen, and dining area. The guest house is attached to the main house by the shared deck.
Our home is located in the Lake Side community of Big Canoe. The house sits on a one acre private wooded lot that backs up to protected green space. There is a hiking trail that connects to the property that will take you to a very pretty bubbling creek, which leads into the lake. You and your family can rent a pontoon boat, or take a canoe on the lake.
The house has a private office/bedroom with high speed internet access.
The location of our home is a six minute drive to the amenities. |
