This North Mission Hills/Old Town vacation home is nestled among mansions. Ideal for families, friends and travelers. 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms with a full service kitchen, dining room and living room. The backyard offers a sunny poolside retreat with attached jacuzzi. You can beat the June gloom "before" noon. The backyard pool is sunny all day and star filled throughout the clear nights. Usually during the months of June, July and August the beaches in San Diego are foggy and or gloomy sometimes all day! You can rest assured that is not the case with this quite and sunny retreat. When the beaches are sunny you can drive there in just minutes with plenty of parking. You can literally walk to Old Town in minutes and there is a great little Barista within just a few minutes walk. It opens around 6:00 A.M. for fresh coffee and croissants ect.. Mission Hills has tons of great shops to stroll through and just as many great restaraunts.
Built in the 1920's by famous San Diego Architecht Edward Ullrich this Spanish-style home is within walking distance of Old Town's State Historic Park and Presidio Park birthplace of California and the first Mission to built in California. Close to all, it's just a few minutes by car to all of San Diego's finest attractions. Including but not limited to: Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Hills, Downtown, Petco Park, Qualcomm Stadium, Sports Arena, Coronado Island, Embarcadero, Seaport Village, Gas Lamp District, South of the border to Tiajuana, Rosarito or Ensenada. Our family had the most wonderful week! Quiet neighborhood and close to everything we wanted to do. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. It is only minutes to stores or restaurants. You can easily walk down to Old Town (the walk back up hill might not be as fun). The other local attractions are an easy drive as well. Tom was completely helpful and accomodating making sure we enjoyed our stay here.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Ingleside in San Diego. We found the home very comfortable and very convenient ... everything was as advertised. Will look to stay here again if/when we make it back to San Diego.

We rented this property for two weeks and highly recommend it. The house is maintained very well and its backyard with pool is an oasis in the city. We loved the quiet neighborhood and enjoyed being close to all of San Diego's attractions. We look forward to coming back!

This was a very relaxing home. We thoroughly enjoyed the yard and spa which was a retreat from the city. Of all the vacation homes we used, this was one of the most organized.
