High Expectations?? There are plenty of rentals in Harbor Country, but nothing compares to this home and the location! The beach is literally the most secluded and widest beach in the area. An absolute stunning combination!
When your car tires hit the gravel road, you cross the ravine with a spring fed stream running below and you see deer navigating the dense forest you will realize you just stepped into paradise at Springbrook Farm.
Most residents of this quaint community have lived here their entire lives and this secluded enclave has managed to avoid the seasonal rush of visitors. By the time you unpack the car, you will feel like the place is your own.
The upper level has a huge kitchen with granite counter top, stainless steel appliances and cherry cabinets. A large pantry offers storage space and a huge island makes a great spot entertaining friends. Off the kitchen is a huge family room, 25x25 with spectacular treehouse views into a dense tree canopy, no homes in sight, just trees and an occasional deer. There is also a gas fireplace for those chilly nights. Huge windows and side doors open to allow the lake breeze flow through the home. There is also a powder room on the upper level.
The entry level has 2 large bedrooms 15x17 with king beds in both rooms. There is a full bathroom with 3x5 stone tiled rain shower and dual Kohler sinks.
The lower level is a self-contained apartment with walk out door to a landscaped patio in the rear of the home. The lower level apartment has one bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath with tub, living room and full kitchen with stove and refrigerator. The couch pulls out into a 4th queen bed option. This makes a perfect suite for guests with kids or parents. The lower level living room also has a fireplace.
There is an attached 2 car garage, exterior patio with grill and fire pit and a hot tub that comfortably seats 8 people. The walk to the beach is 5-8 minutes through a dense dune forest, about 250 yards. The beach is wide and slopes from the water line up to beautiful dune crest covered with dune grasses. Some beach days pass without seeing another person! A tough find in Harbor Country!
Anytime of the year is great here! The summer sun, fall leaves, winter lake effect snows or spring flowers fill the year up with many excuses to escape to Michigan. Springbrook offers it all and makes you feel less like a vacationer and more like a local.
