Beach front condo, second floor, centrally located, with an exquisite view of the Sea of Cortez in La Jolla, San Jose, a secure resort with privately owned condos. This condo underwent a complete renovation during the summer of 2017. All new appliances, countertops, paint, refinished cabinetry, two burner electric stove cook top, new furniture. The condo is approximately 500 sq. ft. with a queen size bed that faces the terrace so you wake up with an ocean view. Standard studio size tile bathroom with shower. A wrap around couch in the sunken living area. You will spend most of your time enjoying the ocean view on the terrace in the mornings and in the evenings. The condo is fully furnished with flat screen t.v., kitchenette, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, stove top, cooler, blow dryer, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, and a safe. Access to laundry machines one floor below. 24 hour security. Walking distance from restaurants, convenience stores, shopping. Two landscaped and well maintained pools, one heated, one salt water. Access to ocean and lounge chairs. The pool that the condo overlooks in the photo on the listing does not belong to La Jolla owners. It belongs to the adjacent hotel, Hilton Krystal. La Jolla pools are to the left and not viewed in the photo. Daily bus service in front of La Jolla to Cabo and San Jose, every 10 min. Condo is 20 minutes from the airport and a five minute taxi ride to downtown San Jose with shopping, quaint bars and restaurants. San Jose is a quieter, quainter, and more serene town than Cabo. Great escape for romance, fishing, or contemplation. San Jose is becoming the go to place for art galleries, european style cafes, eclectic restaurants, and wine tasting. 20% discount for 28+ day rentals. Owner seeks long term rentals.

Charming place on the beach

Charming studio condo in a complex right on the beach. The view in the listing includes the pool of the hotel next door. The condo has 2 pools and they are much better! Very relaxing stay. Loved hanging out on the beach in the morning and moved to the pool in the afternoon. Other renters were friendly and helpful with suggestions. We walked the beach to Mama Mia for Happy Hour and dinner. Zippers is also a short walk and has very good food. The property manager, Lisa was fantastic. Overall stay was great but too short. We’ll be back next year for a longer stay.

Anniversary 2024

We could not have been more pleased with our experience from beginning to end. Condo is nicely furnished for everything you need. View from the balcony is stunning. Even though the pool view is not of the pool for La Jolla guests, it does provide entertainment especially late in the day. We preferred taking lounge chairs on the beach anyway. Thank you for an amazing stay. We will hopefully be able to book this location again.

Fantastic stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is well equipped and stocked. The bed was comfortable and the views were amazing. The beach is quiet and you don't have to fight for a chair on the beach or at the pool. The Mega is an easy 15 minute walk away. We are thankful there was a water cooler and water delivery as in previous years we relied on the OXO at the top of the hill, but this year it was closed 90% of the time we went. The only negative to this unit is the lack of a bar-b-q. There is an electric grill, but it doesn't allow you to roast and there is no oven in this unit so a bar-b-q would have bene really useful.

Beautiful view

Very nice property, there was a lot of construction noise during the day from the property next door along with noise late into 2 nights next door. With that said the property was very nice, beautiful view, convenient location and wonderful people.

Amazing View

I really enjoyed my stay at La Jolla. As a female traveling alone I felt very safe. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the 2 pool were pristine. The ocean view from the condo was breathtaking. The Krystal Grand resort is next door but I never was bothered by any noise… I was also there off season so it may have been quieter than normal. The condo was clean and well stocked for everything you would need to utilize the kitchen. There’s a TV but it’s small and has a few channels to watch but who needs tv when in Cabo? I didn’t have a car and getting to restaurants wasn’t as easy as I thought to walk but Ubers are fast and affordable. The beach in front wasn’t one to swim in but you could walk down the beach about 3/4 miles to a beach with lots of surfers and a beach bar/restaurant (zippers) overall I really enjoyed my stay here and Barbara the property manager answered all my questions and gave useful information. I would be happy to stay here again.

My father was a career army officer and purchased the first condo completed in La Jolla, to come down and fish for marlin. He loved the fishing and I loved the majestic beach so he and I used it the most. He passed away and I have been maintaining and using the condo to keep this jewel in the family.
