Experience luxury and fun at Stork’s Nest in the gated community of Carillon Beach. This beautiful home has spectacular gulf views from the covered, third-story tower porch. The gated community of Carillon is home to some great shops and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. There are plenty of amenities at Carillon; including 3 pools (1 heated), 2 tennis courts, kiddy pool, basketball hoop, bike rentals, and of course, plenty of beach front to enjoy. Speaking of the beach, your rental includes chair and umbrella reservations with the cabana beach service. Enjoy live music at "Grooving on the Green" on Wednesdays during season.
This is a large and spacious home that is within 100 feet of the beach. Sleeps up to 9 people in beds. Decorated for entertaining with an inviting lower level. Here is the layout- Downstairs: Master bedroom with 4 post King bed and TV/VCR, full bath with his/hers sinks, shower and tub, walk in closet, Guest bedroom with 2 full-size beds, TV/VCR and full bath, laundry room with adjoining outdoor shower. Upstairs: kitchen, dining area, guest room with Queen size bed and 1 twin, TV and full bath.
The living room, with its TV/VCR/DVD/stereo system, has a vaulted ceiling that is built like a ship’s hull and is arranged for watching TV on one end, or relaxing on the other. There is also plenty of porch space for enjoying the views and fresh gulf breezes: one on the 1st floor, one off the living area on the 2nd floor, one off the dining area, and one on the third level observation deck. There are even miniature Adirondack chairs for the little ones on the second floor porch.

We recently had the opportunity to spend 2 nights at the Stork's Nest while attending a wedding at Carillon Beach. We have rented many, many houses over the past 20+ years coming to the Destin area for summer vacations, but this one would definitely be one of the best we have chosen. It is actually more beautiful than the pictures, and feels more like someone's home than a vacation rental. The proximity to the beach can't be beat, and there are even chairs/toys to use in addition to the chairs already provided on the beach. The owners are most gracious and a joy to deal with. You won't be disappointed!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

We loved the Stork's Nest! This was our 2nd stay in Carillon Beach and we will be back again ASAP! This is our very favorite community along the Gulf Coast! The house was in a fantastic location - 30 steps to the walkover, outdoor shower and hoses conveniently located to maximize every minute of your beach time! A comfortable and happy house for our family!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This is a great house, very well constructed and very nicely finished. Very clean, looked and smelt freshly painted. Plenty of living room and plenty of privacy. The house is nicely furnished, beautiful wood floors throughout with everything you need, nice outdoor shower area/sand room, nice yard, too many outdoor porches to mention, unique staircase to the 3rd story observation area (The Storks Nest), and even Wi-Fi. The location is extremely convenient, 2 grocery stores a liquor store and a pharmacy are about 2 minutes away, its about a 4 minute drive to Rosemary beach, 10 minutes to shopping in Panama City, 10-20 minutes to Seaside/Seagrove area... and the house is 2 just houses from the beachfront. We have stayed in the area several times, from Destin to Panama City and prefer this area. We will defnitely reserve again for future vacations.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
