warm cozy log cabin - minutes from Yosemite

We had a wonderful stay at this log cabin over the long weekend. the cabin was exactly what we were looking for - a warm , cozy place perfect for a family getaway. The rooms were very clean and all the amenities were very well thought out. The kids really enjoyed the room downstairs and staying in the cabin was probably their favorite part of the trip (yes , they didn't remember much about the view from glacier point). The cabin is very conveniently close to Hwy. 120 but the wooded location made us feel like we are worlds away from the highway. There is a general store only a couple of miles down the highway if you need any groceries.
Owner response:Thank you for your kind review of our Yosemite Log Cabin, we hope you get to stay with us again in the future, if not at this accommodation perhaps at one of our other 4 cabins, the River Cabin sleeps up to 7, and our Sunset Inn cabins are Meadow Lark up to 5 people, Larkspur & Sugar Pine are "Couples Cabins" perfect for two people! We had a wonderful time at the Yosemite Log Cabin. A huge thank you to the owners and Lauren for making this trip so special. From the initial call to book the cabin until we drove away after our 3 nights stay, everything was perfect. We have stayed in many vacation rental homes and this place was by far the cleanest, warmest and most thoughtfully appointed home we have ever rented. The minute you drive up to the cabin, you know you've arrived at a place that's very special. You can sense that it's not just a rental but it's someone's home that is lovingly furnished with all things comforting. The location is also ideal - we spent a day at the rainbow pool near by and 2 days in Yosemite (45 minutes to the valley floor). After a long day of swimming and trekking through the park, we were always so happy to come back to the comforts of the cabin where we prepared great dinners in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed all the amenities the cabin has to offer. There are books and magazines and board games galore. Some of us just relaxed in front of the TV which has a satellite cable service. The large deck offers a tranquil place to gaze at the stars while taking in the smell of the great outdoors. We are already planning our next trip to Yosemite Log Cabin!

We spent four fabulous nights in the Yosemite Log Cabin. We had family out from the east coast and two of them had not been to Yosemite and it was just a fabulous trip. The cabin was a welcome place to come home to. It is very equipped with everything you need for your stay! The cabin is well appointed and plenty of space for all. We were a party of eight and we did not use all of the space. Beautiful, restful setting to be. Recommend biking in Yosemite Valley - rentals available in the park!

Beautiful location; quiet and spacious. We loved the cabin feel, with wonderful amenities of a luxury home! Very well maintained! Great books on the area for our reference, really enjoyed learning the history of the area and Hetch Hetchy. The map and trail information was a nice touch! Even a great selection of music in the CD player (wished we had checked it out our 1st night).

This cabin was a wonderful place to stay. It was in a perfect location to get to Yosemite park and it was quiet in the woods. We felt the owner perfectly described everything. What was especially wonderful was how well stocked the cabin was for our needs. The kitchen in particular had a tremendous amount of offerings. We were very pleased.

February 20-22, 2009 "We had a lovely time in the Yosemite Log Cabin. Thank you for facilitating everything... ...I appreciated how nicely stocked everything was. I brought everything we needed food wise, but I thought it was a gracious addition to know that if I had forgotten something, chances would be good that it would be on the shelf. many thanks," Sukie
