Beautiful 3-story home across from beach, wonderful views of the Gulf and Little Lagoon. 12 bedrooms, each with a bath, and 6,800 sq feet. This house is designed to accommodate both togetherness and privacy! The house has 12 balconies, large bedrooms, 16 televisions and more. Great for your reunion, retreat, golf trip. 2 kitchens each have 2 dishwashers, a double oven, 2 sinks and an ice machine. Family rooms offer a place for the kids to watch their own movie or play games. 4 washers/dryers. Wonderful large pool area with lots of lounges, room to grill and more. We do welcome wedding and other family-friendly festivities with prior approval, and with limitations on size. Call us to discuss!
We are in laid-back West Beach just 2.1 miles west of Hwy 59 and its restaurants, shops and attractions. Great uncrowded family-friendly sugar-white beach. Room for boat parking.

Our group of 33 people had a great time. With the numerous living areas and bathrooms in every room, everyone had plenty of personal space to enjoy privacy when needed. We had a few issues with plumbing and pool filter but they were quickly address and had no effect on our fun. The pool was the highlight. Weather in the golf made the beach scene unattractive many days so, the pool became the main party place. The only slight negative we found was that there wasn't really a restroom easily accessed from the pool. When you have bunch people drinking beer poolside all day you need a place to go. The 1st floor(one flight up from the pool) bedrooms have a bathroom with an outside door. Unfortunately we put families with babies in those rooms so it wasn't usually best to use them. Not to mention it was someones private bath for the week. The next option was to walk around to the front of the house and walk up two flights of stairs. No to mention the stairs are hardwood so you needed to complete dry off. All in all though I highly recommend this house to any large group. Beautiful first class accommodations!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
Owner response: We would love to have a pool level bathroom but there are federal laws that dictate what can be built in a designated flood area. At 6' above sea level, our house is definately in a flood area so bathrooms have to be in the main house. There are 4 baths on the lowest floor (one flight of stairs up from the pool), 2 that open to the deck out to the pool, and two hall baths.

We had 38 people stay at the Lemonade Stand and we all had plenty of space. The house was spacious and just gorgeous ... home away from home. The bedrooms are beautiful and to have your very own bathroom is a plus! The pool was a "blessing" the week we were their ... with rip tide warnings and waves outrageous the kids were able to still enjoy the water and we knew they were safe! You do have to cross the street to get to the beach but with the house suppling beach carts on wheels to carry our stuff to the beach it wasn't a big deal at all! I can't say enough about this house. We simply loved it and would defiantly stay their again if the opportunity arises.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Management was SUPER helpful and friendly, and far exceeded our expectations. They really valued us and our experience there more than just "doing business" and we were well taken care of. The house was immaculate and spacious for our large group. Beach is right across the street, and everything you need is close by. Susan and Geoff were awesome, and we CAN'T WAIT to come back next year!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We just returned from a most enjoyable,relaxing week's vacation in Gulf Shores.Our stay at the Lemonade Stand was the best & everything was just as promised,clean & all you need in a home away from home.This was our second visit to gulf shores & both times we stayed in one of Susan's properties.She is a delight & wonderful to work with,we're already planning next years visit.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family overtook booth sides of the Lemonade Stand for my wedding weekend. In addition to providing ample space for everyone to VERY comfortably stay (we filled up every room!) we also had our wedding reception around the pool and under the house. It was a dream come true...the Lemonade Stand provided the perfect location for our dream wedding. Family and friends who stayed at the house and attended the reception were blown away by the house and loved the set up. The finished in the kitchens and bathrooms as well as the interior design were amazing. We walked across the stree to the beach every day. All in all it was the perfect wedding and weekend at the Lemonade Stand.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We recently had a golf group of 20x down to Gulf Shores and stayed at the Lemonade Stand--couldnt have been nicer. Every guy had their own bed, plenty of space to spread out and hang out, close to the golf courses, beach handy and the house just decked out perfectly. Will definitely use them again in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

The Lemonade Stand was Awesome!! We had 26 teachers attend out 1st annual company retreat and we were blown away with how we had everything we needed-plus more! Our beds were extra comfortable and all the necessities like trash bags, paper towels, etc were already on site. If you are thinking about booking this house for your large group, you won't be disappointed. We used one side of the Lemonade Stand for a family reunion first week in June, that included 20+ family members of all ages. Everyone was pleased with the size, cleanliness and proximity to beach. No one felt like they were on top of each other because rooms were spread out. Sound did not carry throughout. We also like having a pool so granddaughter could take her naps. First time at Gulf Shores and we golfed, shopped, went out to eat and took turns cooking meals for all. Susan and Geoff were very helpful if we had questions. We do plan to come back! We have told all our friends about the Lemonade stand.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Thirty members of our family traveled to the Lemonade Stand in July for a wonderful week of sun, fun and relaxation. The house was AWESOME!! Everyone enjoyed the beach and spacious pool, deck and grilling areas. It was great for everyone to be together, but, still have space to spread out. This was FABULOUS!!! We rented both sides for a large family vacation, and all of us were so impressed. The pictures don't show how beautiful the house is. There was nothing that we were lacking. About the owner: We are a family with school aged children. For years we did an annual big family trip. Lemonade Stand incorporates the things our family wants when we get together--spaces for us all to be together, plus spaces for quiet time. Oh, and our 'must haves' like the pool, grills, lounge chairs and more!
Why the Owner Chose Homes, Single Family:
We love this family friendly area of West Beach. There are just 4 rows of houses, but it is still just minutes from things to do, and you can walk to the end of the block to visit Waves market, the ice cream shop or West Beach Grill.

You'll love the big pool area with lots of lounge chairs. We have a huge space under the house with grills & tables but it has also been used for square dancing and an array of receptions.
