The villa is within 20 minutes of the islands most popular attractions. Nestled on a hill side above Breezes, Runaway Bay Golf Course and just a few quick minutes to the beach. Once you experience the calm evening breezes and panoramic Caribbean views, you will wonder why you ever considered a sea-side villa.
Rendezvous Villa is spacious, with over 5,200 square feet, five bedrooms that accommodate ten, a large living room, two dining areas (one on the balcony), two large verandas, and a large pool area. Smoking is not allowed inside the villa, however is acceptable on the verandas. Each bedroom has air conditioning, however it is rarely needed. All furnishings are updated on a regular basis and our villa is very well kept.
Rendezvous Villa is a great place for families and friends to vacation in casual comfort. You have the exclusive use of the villa and its private pool. This also means that the full-time staff of three is there for you and only you. So pack your shorts and leave the dress cloths at home. No need to over pack, your staff does all the laundry, ironing, cooking, cleaning, and maintain the pool and grounds. The staff prepares breakfast and dinner and you are on your own for lunch.
The villa is kid friendly and stocked with hi-chair, pack & play, stroller, toys, kids DVD's, pool toys, sand toys for the beach, games, movies, kids plates, cups, etc. Nanny care is available from 9 AM to 6 PM for $150 per week with advance notice.
The golf course and the Cardiff Hall private beach is just a few minutes. The private beach is equiped with chairs, snack bar and showers.
Rendezvous villa is one of the nicest villas in Jamaica. Our rates are very reasonable. We do this to keep our staff occupied and we enjoy sharing this wonderful place with others. There are several villas in the area with equal or higher rates that do not compare.

2,3,4, 5 Bedrooms ............ $2,500/week (Prefer Saturday to Saturday).
Add $1000 per week for January - April bookings / Add $250 for groups of 8 or more
Christmas and New Years $4,000.
Our rates are below the rates of many villas in the area that are much smaller,
not as nice, have no view or in as good of a location.
50% Deposit required at time of booking, balance 90 days prior to arrival.
Saturday to Saturday bookings - exceptions may be made.

Year Purchased: 2003
Douglas and Nicole Schmidt from Nebraska. We have two children, ages 8 and 5. We love Jamaica and the vacations our family have there together. We travel on a regular basis, however we haven't found any place quite like Jamaica.
Why the Owner Chose Runaway Bay
We love Jamaica and this is one of the few places that fully staffed villas are common. We've visited staffed villas in Thailand and Mexico and they just aren't the same. We could have purchased a villa on the beach or the golf course, however once you experience the view from Rendezvous you will understand why we made our decision. Golf course villas have a very limited or no ocean view and we can get golf course views in Nebraska (-:
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
The location is great an the staff does a great job. Wonderful meals are served to you on the balcony for breakfast and dinner. The beds are turned down at night, pitchers of ice water are in every room. The size of our villa is a big plus. Over 5,200 sq. ft. gives you plenty of spots to spend time as a group, however you can always find a quiet place to read a book too.

We had never been to Jamaica or stayed at a villa with a staff. It was great and we would suggest it to anyone. Thanks for a trip that we will all be talking about for years. Lawford makes great rum punch and has the best BBQ, Ms. Tiny's Jamaican Beef Stew was the amazing and Ms. Betsy, kept the villa spotless. Thanks Doug for helping us set up our driver, grocery order, etc. You made it easy. Can't wait to see everyone again.

We had lots of fun and I would suggest this type of vacation to any family or group of friends. We did hire a driver for the week and he was a huge asset to our trip, I would suggest that too. We thought we would eat out at night, however after the first night, we decided not to. Ms. Tiny is a great cook.

We have stayed at this villa a few times and always come back. The location is great, the staff wonderful and home incredible. We bring our children and love that the villa is very kid-friendly! We love every minute here. It's a very convenient location for so many of the surrounding activities, including rafting, zip line, Dunns River Falls, Ocho Rios, golfing, etc. Simply the best we've stayed at in Jamaica!

The photos don't do justice to the view or the quality of the villa, we have stayed multiple times at this villa and have enjoyed each stay. With each stay we come to appreciate it more and more. The staff is amazingly friendly, the place is spotless and well cared for, the food is to die for and the atmosphere is awesome. The owner's description is correct I don't think you can find a better place to spend your vacation, whether it's with friends or with your grandkids - as we have done both. We were never disappointed with our stay or villa - until our plane ride home!

I stayed at this Villa 6/30-7/7. Thanks so much for opening your beautiful home to me and my family. It was only three of us on vacation, my 16 year old son, a friend and myself. We loved our relaxing holiday. Thanks so much to Miss Tina, Miss Betsy and Lawford for making us feel like family. The meals were wonderful, but the friendship that we developed are priceless. We had a wonderful family trip and the villa and staff were great. Honestly the pictures on the Internet don't do the villa justice, we were very happy upon our arrival and couldn't believe the view. The food was great, the villa was great and the location was perfect. Ms. Tiny and Ms. Betsy kept the villa spotless and the food was great. Lawford made the best ribs we have ever had and was a great golf cart driver for our trips to the beach. We hired a driver for the week and would recommend that to anyone. The villa is in a great neighborhood and only an hour to the airport. Only 20 minutes to Ocho Rios. We went to Ocho Rios two times and enjoyed Dolphin Cove, Margarittaville and did some shopping. Dunns River Falls was ok, however I wouldn't recommend that for smaller children.

We've been doing vacation villa vacations for many years and can't believe we found Rendezvous. Thank you to the Schmidt family for making this wonderful place affoardable and available for us.
