We rented the house (w/our dogs) for a long weekend and we wished we would have done the whole week! It was so relaxing just sitting out on the front deck watching everyone walking, biking and driving on the street or sitting on the back deck to avoid the noise. The dogs were able to hang with us without having to worry about them on the decks (you might want to bring 2 baby gates). There is a view of Lake Park to the north with a small local flea/farmers market on Saturday mornings. The convenience store to the south and directly across the street from A&K grill for B-L-D at our finger tips. We didn’t need to get back in the car until we left. The beds were very comfortable and there was a fan in every room. A quick walk to the beach and a short bike ride or stroll to town made this the good location for us without being too close to the party. We did take the ferry over to SouthPort (but bring your car) and ate at Fishy Fish on the water, VERY good food. The dogs are not allowed on the beach during peak season BUT...the morning sunset is beautiful ;) A couple miles up the road at Kure Beach there were many dogs on leashes all day. Plus if you have a 4 wheel drive…bring it and take it out on the north (freeman park) or south end (by aquarium) of the beach. What a blast that was! You can camp all day w/your vehicle and dogs. Highly recommend this!

We picked this rental because the homeowners allowed dogs. It was a very pleasant surprise to find the house clean and very well appointed. The floors were either tile or hardwood, which made it easy to clean. It has the beach cottage decor and was just a short walk to the beach. The outside shower was a plus to wash off all the sand after a day at the beach. I would definitely return again!.

We had a great time staying in your beach cottage. We were able to sleep 8 people comfortably. With two public beach access points just a few yards away, this location was ideal for our frequent trips to the beach. We were happy to discover we were within walking distance of Carolina Lake and several restaurants and only 2 miles from the Kure Beach pier. We would definitely like to rent again.

Very clean, I was home from Iraq and wanted a place to take the Wife and dog, only 2 mins from the beach if that far, also about the same distance was a nice park, paved trial and they also showed movies out doors, we loved it. Will visit again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the week at your place. We all agreed that it would be a "rent again". It was one of the few in our price range and although it is located on a main street, access to the beach is very easy. We found the side porch to be quite nice. Your home is well maintained and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful time!
