  This house is a fabulous place. We were four couples and we each had our own private bedroom and en-suite. We have been doing this for 25 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. It is large and the house is well organized with pots of dishes and multiple areas to sit. The only negative comment our group had was is that there are not TV's in all the bedrooms only the master.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

Just one tiny correction: while it’s true we don’t have a TV in every bedroom, we do have one in the Casita (the guest bedroom off the pool area). You were probably in the master bedroom and maybe didn’t get over to that bedroom. Thanks again!

  It was an awesome experience staying Casa Serenidad! Communication with the owner and caretaker was easy. I don't think I have booked a place with the details we were provided. The property kitchen was very well equipped for chefs! We cooked every meal while we stayed there. Another good thing is the house has a bathroom for every single room and we don't have to share. Felt like we were living at home! We really enjoyed the outdoor area as well. We will definitely come back again!

  My friends and i stayed here for a week just recently and i have to say the pics do NOT do it justice!! this house is just amazing and the owners are so friendly and welcoming .. it really felt like we were at home even though we were miles away!!! we couldnt have asked for a better house and couldnt believe how well equipt this house was it really does have EVERYTHING!!...My friends thanked me everyday for picking that house and we def will stay again !!

  Our family and friends stayed at Casa Serenidad for 16 days in March. It was truly the most enjoyable, relaxing, and comfortable home rental we have ever experienced. The house is perfectly appointed with the bedroom being spread out, a WELL stocked kitchen for the Chef(s), the pool & spa was perfectly sized and multiple sitting areas for entertaining or a quiet read by a water fountain if you wanted. The house was clean, close to downtown, close to Ruth Hardy park for the kids, and having a washer/dryer came in handy too! What you need to know is that this house is luxurious while being comfortable at the same time … warm décor and lighting during the day, comfortable beds in every room, and strategic lighting at night make it super serene and almost romantic. Dealing with the owner John was a pleasure. He provided great communication up front and during the process, some personal touches (I won’t give away), and his on sight greeting Team were very pleasant and provided a very detailed walk through on arrival; we never had a problem of a question during our stay because of that. That’s Customer Service! An overall amazing property, Owner and “crew” to deal with; I would highly recommend this property! Our sincere Thanks John for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful

  We four retired ladies just spent 11 days at Casa Serenidad. An ideal getaway from the cool Oregon spring spent in great comfort in this well appointed retreat. The house was so well equipped and convenient that we are already planning our return next year. The owner was easy to work with and the local caretaker was helpful without being obtrusive. All in all a great experience which we have no hesitation in recommending.

  We discovered how beautiful the desert can be in the winter during our month long stay at Casa Serenidad. Some days it was just the two of us relaxing, some days we entertained friends, and on the weekends our grown children came with the grand kids and grand puppy. This place accommodated us all perfectly. The house was so well equipped, all of our needs were anticipated ahead of time. Awesome. We were in walking distance to parks, great mid century neighborhoods and wonderful eateries on the main street, Palm Canyon. One of my favorite pastimes was sitting outside in the mornings in a lounge chair, gazing through the steam rising off the pool to watch the hummingbirds perched in the ocotillo with the mountains in the background. On some of those mornings there was snow on the mountains and the skies were clear blue. And by the way, that view was also available through the window in the master bath shower. We hope to make a return visit!

  Rented this home for a 3-generation girls' getaway and could not have been happier. The pictures really do not do it justice!!! The furniture and appointments are beautiful; the conveniences are equal to that of home; neighborhood was centrally located, private and secure. We were only minutes away from stores, shopping, and entertainment. A perfect home-away-from-home. The rental process was easy; written instructions were thorough and easy to follow, and the welcome visit with their caretaker was much appreciated. You won't be disappointed with this property. We'll definitely be back!

  Just celebrated my 50th birthday with my girlfriends and sister-in-law at this incredible home! My third opportunity to stay here. It's like having your own private resort and spa. A perfect place for a girlfriend get-away to relax! Even got massages on the back patio with the sound of water in the lovely fountain, which created a perfect zen environment. Everyone was amazed at the beauty and comfort of this home which has a positive energy running through it. Beautifully decorated and a wonderfully spacious floor plan. And John (owner) and Doug (caretaker) were incredibly great to work with too. Easy rental process and can even rent over a year in advance (not all rentals were willing to do that). I know I'll be back to Casa Serenidad!

  We just spent the last week at Casa Serenidad and had an amazing time there. The pictures don't even do this house justice-- the grounds are gorgeous and the house manages to be both comfortable and beautiful at the same time. We rarely left the house because the backyard was so pleasant during the day and the kitchen was so well-equipped, enabling us to cook excellent meals every night! When we did venture out, it was nice to be so close (a little over a mile) to downtown Palm Springs. We are already planning our next trip to Casa Serenidad!!
