What a beautiful property, located on culdesac close to all of the main Palm Springs attractions. It was equiped with everything you would have in your own home, no worries if you forgot something because it was there. Lots of patio furniture, great BBQ and each room was gorgous. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home! You thought of everything.

Casa Serenidad was everything we had hoped for - and more. The central Palm Springs location made it handy to walk into town or drive to shopping or hiking destinations. We needed a home adequate for visits by children and grandchildren, and the bedrooms and the Casita fit the bill. The home was neat and clean and each room was well equipped with linens and supplies. Kitchen utensils and small appliances invited a wide range of cooking projects and there's enough table ware to accommodate family and guests. The outdoor facilities - barbecue, fire pit, pool and hot tub were perfect for our family needs. The pool is great for small children (ours were 7 mos to 7 years) as well as for adults. Sitting by the pool and looking out at the mountains beyond down town Palm Springs - mountains where we hiked on several occasions - was an inspiration in itself. Home owners and local hosts were most helpful and non-instrusive. Directions for 'running' the house were clearly organized and took much of the anxiety out of being responsible for such a large and beautiful Spanish villa style home. Our family already has plans to return here in two years. All the kids and grandkids loved their accommodations and the amenities the home offers. We enjoyed grocery shopping at Ralph's with our discount keychain fob, and had several visits to restaurants like the Blue Coyote, Maracas, the Kaiser Grill and Consuela's. Elmer's for breakfast and brunch was a treat too. We took great day trips to the Salton Sea and to Slab City, as well as Idylwild and the Cabazon and Dessert Hills Outlet malls. We certainly would recommend Casa Serenidad to our friends. The month went by far too quickly, but we look forward to a return visit.

Thank you Mr. Tuttle! Our family had a peaceful, restful and luxurious holiday at your home. It truly is like being at a resort, but even better: comfortable, immaculate, decorated like House Beautiful, yet a feeling of great warmth and love. My elderly 80+ year old parents were blown away. The lay out of your home allowed for many small groups to lounge and catch up on their lives and yet when tired and in need of quiet, the bedrooms were off to the side. The pool and landscaping were enticing and like Frank Lloyd Wright the landscaping and the home blended in perfectly. And your frequent emails were reassuring, detailed, and we felt like you really cared to make sure this was a great visit. Your place and services was a 10/10! We can't thank you enough. Just wanted to thank you for a beautiful Thanksgiving week with our family. Your home was perfectly suited for all of us! We had about 20 people for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday and the weather was so beautiful we all decided to sit outside and enjoy yur lovely backyard. All of our guests commented on how gorgeous the property is! Our adult children stayed with us during the week and the bedrooms were arranged nicely, each with their own bathrooms and plenty of privacy. They were competing over who got to sleep in the "casita"! The pool and spa were a big hit with our guests and in the cool evenings, the firepit was an added bonus! But what impressed my husband and I, as the holiday cooks, was how well stocked the kitchen is. We have stayed at many properties through the years and have never come across a kitchen so complete! We truly look forward to another visit at Casa Serenidad, next time we vacation in Palm Springs.

What a great place! We didn't know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. There was 3 couples and each one had their own private secluded area! We love how the house was so open to the pool and spa area. Most of our waking moments were spent on the patio with soothing music and fantastic sunshine. Almost like a spa setting. Everything was perfect and even close enough so we could walk to downtown Palm Springs. Would definitely stay here again. Can't wait to do it soon!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at beautiful Casa Serenidad and it was wonderful. We decided that we do need to make it an annual tradition (at least). This home is fabulous and we had a brilliant time. It is even better than the pictures. John is great and responds quickly to any request. Doug, the caretaker, will answer any question you have when you get there and is also available by phone or will stop by whenever you need him. It is in a great location near downtown Palm Springs and many attractions including casinos. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a stunning, comfortable and well maintained home!

We had the incredible good fortune to pick Casa Serenidad as our venue for a girls weekend! The house was beautiful- floor plan really lends itself to entertaining and provides many "nooks and crannies" for those seeking space. The owner John was great to deal with- answered all our questions promptly! Doug, the caretaker, was also very pleasant. Only bad part was having to leave!

This was our second visit to Casa Serenidad. After our first "girls weekend" last summer, we knew we had to make it a tradition at the same place. The house is amazing and gave us such a wonderful, peaceful place to relax, eat, laugh and enjoy one another's company. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend, and the house couldn't be more perfect! In addition to being a fantastic home, Casa Serenidad will always have our business because of its wonderful owners. They are kind, professional, honest, helpful, and extremely easy to work with. They answered all our questions immediately and made sure our stay was very comfortable. Also, we left behind personal belongings and they not only found it, but shipped it to us as well. We felt so lucky! Thank you for a wonderful trip...we are already planning our next reunion next summer!

Just back from another fabulous weekend at Casa Serenidad! it was fantasitic, this year some of us ventured out and enjoyed a bit of Palm Springs...a wonderful massage at the Riviera and a little time at the Spa Resort Casino! But as always, the best part was staying at the beautiful Casa Serenidad with the ladies and relaxing in the pool. We love this house and can't wait to come back again next summer!

This was the 2nd year in a row our entire family made it out to spend a long weekend at the Casa de la Serenidad! The property is absolutely beautiful, the pool is perfect for kids and adults, the rooms are very accomodating with a bathroom in each and the kitchen has everything you need to eat all your meals at the house! The new BBQ made the ribs and chicken so easy to cook. I can't say enough other than we couldn't ask for more! We'll be back again next year! ALSO, John the property owner is excellent to work with and Doug does a great job walking us through the property when we arrive. Thank you!!!

My family of 10 (ranging in age from 9 to 70) spent the weekend at Casa Serenidad for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was an excellent choice!! This home is amazing. Clean, well-stocked, amazing decor, plenty of towels & pillows, labeled cupboards for wine glasses, brand-new grill. Everyone had their own space, but we lived in the pool/spa area! Great, easy directions for the spa, AC, electronics, etc. which were given to us upon our arrival. The guys golfed and the girls shopped. We're talking about making it an annual event. Thanks, John & Doug!!

My family rented this home over Memorial Day weekend and it was the best weekend! Everything about this home is first class, the owners and caretakers are very accomidating and easy to work with. I am a little reluctant to provide a review, because our favorite Palm Springs rental is going to get so popular that we won't be able to find an available weekend anymore!! This was our 5th Annual Palm Springs Girls Getaway Weekend at Casa Serenidad (we are 40ish year old moms). It no longer feels like a rental to us, it feels like our second home. The place is absolutely gorgeous and so spacious. You have everything you need and more at this house. The first year, we had grandiose plans of going shopping, out to dinner and dancing for our girls weekend, but the place is so beautiful, warm and inviting, we never left the entire weekend or any weekend since. We spend our days sitting in/by the pool with adult beverages listening to the music piped over the outdoor speakers, enjoying the view of the mountains and thoroughly enjoying ourselves. We love Casa Serenidad and plan to come back each year for many years to come!!

Can't stop gushing about how great this 11th annual "ladies" retreat was . This was our 11th different rental, but we will do everything in our power to do a repeat in this home. This house had great feng shui. It was truly comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The pool was fabulous, but overshadowed by the majestic views from the deck. This was the first time renting that the house was better than the pictures. The kitchen had everything needed and then some, plenty of space for everyone, separate baths for each bedroom. It was clean and we felt truly relaxed here. Loved the location, close to everything and in a beautiful neighborhood. One of the best parts was Doug, our official greeter, who met us at the house and gave us a tutorial on all of the systems. Also, John, who was so professional when booking and making the arrangements and following up on all of the details. Just can't find anything bad to say, except that we did not want to go home.

My wife gave me 5 five nites here as a 65th birthday present and we invited 3 other couples to join us. We had an absolutely wonderful and very, very relaxing stay. Wow! Where to start? For my birthday weekend every year in April, we (me and 5 other girlfriends) come to Palm Springs to get away from it all. We spend hours researching and trying to locate the perfect house to accommodate our group. It's both exciting and stressful! This year we found Casa De Serenidad and before we all left Palm Springs, we had pretty much decided that next year, there was no need to go through the stress of looking because this home was it. I must say, I was surprised and touched at all the personal touches before we even got there. The calender and note sent to welcome us are all personal touches that we had never gotten from a property owner before (Kudos to you!). We loved the home from the moment we entered! Just about everything we could think of wanting was there and some that we surely didn't expect (grocery club cards!). The home is decorated and laid out perfectly to accommodate a group. We loved that we were met at the home and was showed around and how things worked so there was no frustration or mystery. The pool area was so beautiful and relaxing and everything we wanted to do while there was close by. The only regret I have is that we packed too much stuff into our days and didn't stay "home" enough to enjoy the home even more. Thank you for the best Palm Springs experience we have had to date, and look forward to us contacting you and re-booking next year!

My girlfriends and I go to Palm Springs every year for a relaxing weekend away. Over the last 5 years we have stayed at different homes every year and I can honestly say that not a one has ever compared to the great experience we had at this home. This home is exquisite! But, even more than that the owners are fabulous. They truly care if your time spent at their home is comfortable and enjoyable. After some of the experiences we had in the past at other homes, this was refreshing. The home is central to everything you could possibly want to do. The view of the mountains from the beautful pool area is truly breathtaking. I dont think the photos do it justice. You will be so pleased with your choice to stay at this house..trust me it is amazing and we will be going back

Your house was one of the best if not the best we have rented in Palm Springs over the last 5 years! there are six of us women who go up every year and so we have stayed in different places, I think the consensus was that next year we don't need to look for a house because we already found one!! The saltwater pool and spa are absolutely wonderful. The house is in a great quiet neighborhood and close enough to everything! Great spacious kitchen, we were all in there cooking together with room to spare! The decor of the entire house is beautiful! very clean inside and out!

My girlfriends and I have been renting homes in Palm Springs/Palm Desert for the last 5 years and this experience was far superior! From the initial contact to the end, John and Doug were so nice to deal with. When we arrived in Palm Springs Doug met us at the house and he walked us through everything! This was such a nice touch! The house was gorgeous!!! And it was equipped with everything you would want or need! The extra thoughts and touches: grocery store club cards left in the bowl, plastic glasses for the pool, pool "noodles", extra towels, extra pillows, the list goes on and on! The pool was so beautiful, perfect size, and plenty of lounge chairs! The location was perfect -- less than a mile from the grocery store, a little over a mile to downtown Palm Springs -- so convenient! I cannot say enough about this house, except I wish we stayed longer and we will definitely be back!

WOW! What a great vacation get away home. We were fortunate to rent this home for a full month and really enjoyed our stay. We had our 85 year old Mother and Aunt with us and many of our cousins wanted to visit and spend time with them, and because we had an extra bedroom family and friends were able to visit and stay over. We had visitors from Nevada, Arizona and several areas of California. The pool area is as good as it looks in the photos; in fact the photos are a very accurate depiction of the home. We have rented homes in Palm Springs for the past 5 years and this is by far the best. We had never rented from a homeowner, so we were a bit leery, but from the first time I spoke with John that feeling went away. John and Doug where great and they truly want you to enjoy this wonderful home. Enjoy you stay!

My family, friends and I have stayed at Casa De Serenidad several times now and it is, for us, our #1 choice when staying in PS. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated in a casually elegant fashion which suits its mediterrean architectural style. Plenty of open space, a great entertaining friendly kitchen (which is well stocked with appliances and spices: something often lacking in other rental homes), enclosed property (great for families/pets), landscaping and a beautiful pool/hot tub which is well integrated into the property via its natural formations, irregular shape and sand toned bottom. The attached separate casita has been great for inlaws and nannys and the property is located close to downtown. There are even citrus trees on the property which provide ample fresh ingredients for a morning glass of juice or the basis for an afternoon cocktail. If the owners would sell it, we'd buy it in a heartbeat. The owners and caretaker are courteous, accomodating and a joy to deal with. Consider yourself truly fortunate to spend time in their care.

This is a nice place with a good layout. The four bedrooms are nicely seperated for privacy, and the home is well decorated, and includes eveything that you will need. The owners & support staff are great people & we would stay here again in a New York minute!

Casa Serenidad was a home away from home. Eight adults - each with their own space - and places to 'hang-out' together. We all took full advantage of the pool and hot tub and enjoyed 'crisping' on the lounges, while back home weather temperatures plummeted well into the minuses. Some of the extended family are not winter-vacationers. It was mentioned that the experience gave them 'an eye opener on what a warm vacation can do for the soul'. The men-folk enjoyed golfing IMMENSELY. This Palm Springs home was the perfect venue for everyone! Thank you for making it easy!

My experience was delightful, from the first phone call inquiring about the property, to the time we drove out of the driveway. The owner operates in a very enthusiastic manner and is organized with every little detail It was so helpful to have a person meet us there to go over things and come back as we were leaving. We will definately come back and so will the family and friends that shared the home with us. The house has a wonderful feel that cannot come across in pictures.

Our adult family had a wonderful five days at Casa Serenidad. The home more than met our expectations. This experience was one of the best we have had, and we have done this many times over the years. Perfect weather enhanced the stay. The close proximity to Ruth Hardy Park was a plus as we used the tennis courts there almost every day.

After searching VRBO, I found Casa Serenidad for our annual Ladies/Moms retreat. When we arrived, it was much more than we could ever imagined. Every space was beautiful, warm and thought out to the detail. The views were breathtaking and basically a piece of heaven.

My friends and I always enjoy our stay at Casa Serenidad. We've been there five times over the last few years for a weekend retreat. I think that says it all. Clean, quiet with plenty of room for six of us to enjoy time together or apart. The pool is beautiful! The house is close to any where you might want to get to in the Palm Springs area.

The home is even more beautiful then the pictures show. Great open floor plan, and great amenities - especially the availability of the BBQ. We were a group of 8 adults and had plenty of room to be alone - if we so desired. The pool and spa are perfect - not too small. Definately recommend the extra cost for a heated pool - we had low 80's degree weather and the heated pool was perfect for a cool down. It's a great place for some rest and relaxation, but close enough to downtown and casino if you want to do nights out on the town. Will definately consider renting agian. : - )

This was my second stay at Casa Serenidad and it was even more spectacular the second time around. Booked the house again for our annual girls getaway weekend. Beautifully decorated, peaceful, quiet - the perfect place to escape. Usually we go out in the evenings, dinner, movie, etc. but this time we stayed in the entire weekend - no one wanted to leave this sanctuary. Have already booked for next year ~ we can hardly wait to return!!!

This was out fifth trip to this gorgeous home. Our family loves lounging around and playing in the pool. The home itself is terrific. Great people to work with.

A group of my closest friends and family stayed here for my Bachelorette Weekend and this place was truly amazing. Our mouths dropped to the floor the minute we stepped into this beautiful home. The pictures on this website really did not do this place justice. You honestly have to see it in person to appreciate it's true beauty. If you want a relaxing place to stay, this is it. This was my first experience with renting a house and John made it super easy. This is definitely a weekend I will never forget. Thank you John for sharing your wonderful house for so many to enjoy.

I would recommend Casa Serenidad for any large family gathering. The home is beautiful, the pool is excellent, and it is an all around great spot to get away. We had adults, kids, babies and 2 dogs and it worked perfect for everyone! Thank you John for a great stay, we plan on making it a yearly vacation spot!!!

In celebration of my 30th birthday, my boyfriend coordinated a beautiful weekend away with some of my closest friends. Casa Serenidad was a breathtaking surprise for me. Truly an oasis in the desert, the house is the perfection. Beautifully decorated with a homey feel, Casa Serenidad had 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms. And I would be remiss if I did not mention the fantastic pool and spa. Pool designed for all day lounging in the hot Palm Spring sun. I whole heartedly recommend this place and we are already looking at dates for next year to book again!

This was my 5th time booking Casa Serenidad and it won't be my last! Once you stay here, you will not want to stay anywhere else in Palm Springs. I have booked it for Mother's Day with the family, for my daughters 16th birthday with her friends and for her high school graduation trip. I have also booked it twice for girls weekend getaways... nothing like it! This home is beautifully decorated and maintained, it is not your typical rental. The gals this weekend could not stop talking about how awesome this home was. From the kitchen to the linens to the pool to the fountain patio. There were 7 of us but it was as if we had our own private retreat for the weekend. Once you walk through the front gate you wont want to leave... everything you need or want is there. Stop looking and just book it!

My husband and I, along with three other family members, rented Casa Serenidad for a few days in July. All we can say is wow! The house, furnishings, pool, spa, privacy, views, etc., etc., were extraordinary. We have never rented a private home before and didn’t really know what to expect, but Casa Serenidad certainly exceeded our expectations. The entire rental process was stress-free and very easy. We highly recommend this property and look forward to going back.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Serenidad. John, was a pleasure to work with during the rental process. The layout of the house worked well with our family allowing each of us to have private time. The furnishings and the decor of the house are impressive and we enjoyed finding all the niches. The fountain/patio is especially tranquil. The description and pictures do not convey the beauty of the house. Thank you again for the wonderful time.

I can not say enough good things about Casa Serenidad. The house was gorgeous, comfortable and made me never want to leave. We went for my sister's final girls weekend before getting married and it was truly perfect. The house accommodated all 10 of us and we never felt crowded. The owners are reliable, organized and very easy to work with. Everything about this house was tremendous and I would strongly encourage everyone to choose it for your Palm Springs vacation. We are already planning our next girls weekend there! :)

Five of us stayed at Casa Serenidad over the 4th July weekend and loved our stay. The house was so comfortable - spotlessly clean and very spacious, affording each of us as much privacy as we wanted. The grounds were fabulous - beautiful foliage; orange butterflies everywhere and a pair of hummingbirds returned each morning. The pool and spa were great - and there were so many areas to sit! Both John and Craig were very easy to get along with - their communication was always friendly and helpful. Thank you guys - you made the end of our trip an absolute pleasure! We recommend Casa Serenidad wholeheartedly!

There aren't enough adjectives to describe the beauty and comfort of this house. The photos don't do it justice. Aside from all the fabulous things you can see - the vibe in this house is positive, happy and calming. We had 10 people staying in the house and hosted a family reunion party for an additional 25. Every single person was impressed by the striking furnishings and clever layout. It is simply a gorgeous house. You'll want to come back - which I'll be doing next month.

Just had my 30th birthday over the weekend there and I cant sing the praises of both the house and its owner enough! They are memories that I will take with me the rest of my life, everything was perfect. My wife and I are already looking at the calendar to see when we can book our next weekend out there (while we also begin a savings plan to be able to retire in the house next door...that stretch of houses are some of the best in Palm Springs) Thank you John! And to anyone reading this, do yourself a favor: book the house and dont look back, the pictures are great yet they still dont do it justice.

Definitely worth it - don't hesitate. The pool area is larger than appears, the view beautiful, the gorgeous home is plenty large enough for 10 ppl. with EVERYTHING you need. This feels more like staying in a friends well appointed home, than just an average rental property. We had two families here (including a 6 and 8 yr old and 70 year olds and in between)... everyone was quite happy! Great indoor/outdoor sound, HOT hot tub, very comfortable beds, pillows, etc. The Kitchen had everything you needed and the location was great. Security deposit was returned immediately. What more can you ask for? Thanks Casa Serenidad!

So 8 stressed out employees decided to go to Palm Springs for our spring break and had the best time ever in Casa Serenidad. There was a lot to do in Palm Springs but the house had everything we needed so we didn't feel the need to go out. The house is beautiful, the neighborhood was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, there's a lot of stores and markets conveniently within walking distance and the weather was perfect. I would definitely consider returning here and would recommend this house to anyone in a heart beat.

First time our group has ever rented a home and were we pleasantly surprised!!!!!! This home is beautiful and well stock from dishes through pots and pans. Decorated beautifully as well. The pool is fabulous with a free formed look including a hot tub and also a gas fired pit. Plenty of towels and pillows. Highly recommend it.
