Beautiful, spacious, immaculate two-story home in the heart of the bird sanctuary. Quiet, natural area, one block to The Nature Conservancy South Cape Meadow bird preserve; half-block to Rea Farm nature trails. Bike to Cape May town center,Beaches, 180 acre Cape May Point State Park, Farmer's markets, fine restaurants, attractions, historic sites, antique stores and shopping. Also, quaint Cape May Point, Lighthouse and scenic Delaware Bay sunsets are less than a mile from the house.
Watch and listen as the horse drawn carriages pass the house as they make their way to and from town.
House features first-floor living room and fireplace, cable TV, stereo/CD player. Full kitchen with full appliances. Enclosed porch overlooking "nature-active" yard. Patio with chiminea. Outdoor enclosed shower. Family room with pool table, ping pong table, cable TV, DVD/CD stereo player. Large bedroom, two full-size beds. Laundry room. Full bath.

  • A wonderful location for birders, beachgoers, bikers or walkers. A few minutes from the beach, Cape May Victorian shopping district, lighthouse and bird sanctuary. A lovely home with nature all around. Has a pool table, screened in porch and much more. We loved the peaceful surroundings.

  • This home offers something special that other rentals do not have, the feeling you are home. This is the only rental we have ever stayed in that provided this contentment. It is the perfect location for taking walks, bike riding and excellent for novice bird watchers (like us)or serious birders. Close to the ocean and bay. There is a winery and farmland around the corner. The best of both worlds. There are wonderful spots around town to dine ranging from inexpensive to high end, something for everyone. The home itself is meticulous. Favorite spot is the master bedroom which makes you feel like you are in a tree house given the design and placement. Outdoors the garden is home to a variety of sights and sounds. Our family has spent a week or two every year for many years and plan to continue. Our most recent visit was in July of 2008. Have rented summer,fall, winter and spring. Each season has something special to offer. With or without kids a great choice. On a scale of 1-10 we give it a 10.
