From this mountain retreat, you have access to 5 ski areas--all less than a 12 miles away, hiking trails (the National Forest is steps away from the front door), golf courses, and a clubhouse with hot tubs and a swimming pool (very close to our unit).
Prospector Village is one of Wildernest's newest complexes, and is surrounded by National Forest on three sides with a trailhead leading into the wilderness. Recreational opportunities abound all year in Summit County. Located in the heart of Colorado's "Ski Country", Prospector Village is within minutes of fantastic ski resorts, and is also minutes away from 5 championship golf courses, Lake Dillon and its 2 marinas, and access to fishing, hiking, biking and rafting.
The towns below, Silverthorne & Dillon, provide you with access to some great restaurants, a full-service grocery store (City Market), outlet stores and many other conveniences of home without hindering the area's mountain feel. Silvethorne also has a fantastic recreation center with pools and water slides for the kids!
In addition, the towns of Breckenridge and Frisco are also close by, if you are looking for a an updated taste of the old west.
