Tranquility in Maui!

My wife and I enjoyed a quiet 10 day vacation in Unit 317. The room is clean and comfortable and there is a terrific view of the ocean from the balcony. We enjoyed many morning coffees and many glasses of wine in the evenings on the balcony watching the boats come and go from the harbour, watching for whale activity in the ocean, and watching people walk by on the beach. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others looking for a little bit of tranquility in Maui. Lahaina Shores has a great location on Front Street that allows one to walk to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. For those of you who need to connect to the internet wirelessly (iPad, etc), you will need to bring a wireless router to hook up to the cable internet router in the room (my Apple Air Port Express worked great). There is no public wireless internet in the hotel.

Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Walking in to the condo of course the first thing you see is the beautiful view from the sliding glass door. But after looking around the condo, we saw other things. Dirty walls in the kitchen, very dirty stained carpet in the living area. Yes, there is new tile around the bathtub, but other than that the bathroom is old and outdated. We rented a condo so we’d be able to make some meals in the condo. Well the items in this kitchen made that very difficult. DULL knifes and glass cutting boards. Everything looked old or possibly put together from garage sales. The blender was so dirty, there was no way we were going to use it. I do have to say the towels were great, and the bed was comfortable. The best part was being able to listen to the waves at night. In our opinion the rental cost was too high for the quality of the rental.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Anne we had a wonderful relaxing laid back vacation - everything we needed was there - the ocean at night to put you to sleep...amazing! View is second to none! I long to come back soon and visit one of you condos - there is NO question that ocean front is so worth the few extra dollars - splurge, you're in MAUI! The complex is immaculate and everyone is very friendly, the grounds and pool area are impeccably maintained! The short walk to the shops is perfectly situated just enough away to give privacy to the condo but close that its a leisurely stroll. The location of Lahaina Shores to other parts of the island is perfect. Dining and shops are so close by and even on the main road 30...just a hop skip and a jump! We will definitely book our next trip back..hoping its before 2012 is over, because I am dying to go back and visit your condo once again! Thanks again for offering to us such a divine condo on the beach for others to enjoy :) Mahalo!

Your unit is beautifully decorated and the bed is very comfy! Loved sitting on the lanai! This truly was the best vacation we've had in 32 years! Hope to return again very soon!!

For 6 days of staying here I would say this is the best place I've ever been! I love the view, the ocean--I love this place--It is perfect! It is always nice to wake up n the morning with the beauiful sunrise and the sounds of the waves! I would love to come back here sometime soon!

My husband and I stayed at this property in Nov., 2011 for 16 days. Everything about it was first class. We definitely will return and really enjoyed working with the owners and the staff. This is so much better than staying in a hotel. Thank you Anne for making our vacation a dream.

Reminissing of my honeymoon

I was reminising about our honeymoon and the special time we spent here. It was a great place, perfect location with easy in/out access, nice and quiet but close enough to everything to walk. Flat out loved it!

We have stayed at Lahaina Shores 3 times now and this was BY FAR the nicest condo we have stayed in. My wife kept commenting on how comfortable the bed was, and she slept like a rock every night. Great views from Lanai and little things, like a DVD/VCR, the little rack on the lanai to try towels and swimsuits, the beach towels etc. We were highly impressed. Thanks again

The minute you open the door, the view greets you with all its splendor! A fantastic place to stay and relax. The lanai is exceptional, and was well appreciated. Check out the moon shine on the water (2-4 a.m.) We will return again, enjoy the island, the views, and the ambiance!

Your condo is amazing and well furnished. Every convenience we needed was at our fingertips. the view is spectacular and we spend many hours sitting on the lanai enjoying the crashing of the waves and an occasional boat passing by. We love the area as well as the access to the beach and Front Street. Our vacation was everything we hoped it would be and we will be returning to your unit!
