  My husband and I have vacationed in Twain Harte for 30 years and this is by far our favorite cabin. The owner is a master builder and remodeled his cabin for comfort as well as beauty. The cabin is perfect for 2, the large deck is where we relax and eat all of our meals. It is in a wonderfully quiet spot -- a perfect getaway.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

  I was able to arrange a very last minute trip to the Crane's cabin last weekend to get away from the distractions of the city and get some work done for my PhD. The photos truly don't do this little nugget justice. You really do have to see how spacious they made this cabin. I was alone, but I could easily see how a couple with children or a few friends could stay here for the weekend or longer and have plenty of room to move around in. It was just what I needed for focus and work to get done. Only (minor) complaint is that the shower is a bit too snug for a man of my height. At a little over 6'4, it was not quite as big as I would have liked it, but that is really a personal thing for me, and I understand that it probably functions for the rest of the world all right. Nicely appointed kitchen, basic cable, beautiful deck, charcoal grill, quiet (though I'm sure it may be different in the peak summer/winter months). I also didn't realize they'd have coffee and a bottle of wine waiting. Such a nice touch overall. I may return if I need the focus again.

  This studio cabin is in the perfect setting and It was just perfect for my husband and myself. It was very clean and it had everything you would need for a perfect week-end. It is located in a very quite and cozy setting. I'm sure we will be visiting again. I would highly recommed this cozy little cabin. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place.

  We stayed at this cabin during Christmas in 2009. Perfect for our little family. Our two boys loved playing in the snow, the cabin was so warm and cozy, and all the amenities were over the top! Gourmet kitchen, equisitely decorated. We did not want to go home. We booked again for Christmas in 2010. Everything is very close, skiing, lakes, snow parks, town, yet the cabin is tucked away in the pines and very peaceful. Dont miss out on this one. Karl and JoDee

  We just stayed at this delightful cabin in the woods. Everthing was perfect. Great privacy, very new inside, charming, wonderful homey touches and clean as a whistle. Can highly recommend this cabin for 2.

  I have stayed in many rentals in this little mountain town, and this is my favorite cabin for one or two people. The interior is clean and very classy, and the cabin is on a quiet dead-end street where you can watch deer walk by in the early evenings. I felt safe and comfortable there as a woman travelling alone. There's a great audio system, too, and a peaceful deck.

  My son and I stayed for 6 nights so as to ski/snowboard at Dodge Ridge, and we could not have been happier with the cabin. It is quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. Everything one needs is provided and though only one large room, it was plenty big enough for the two of us:it feels larger because of the lay-out. Great kitchen. Lovely forest views out all the windows.

  We stayed in this cabin last fall and really enjoyed it. The owners did all the renovation work themselves, and the high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is everywhere you look in the cabin. It's on a quiet street and has a good location near downtown Twain Harte.

  We stayed at this beautiful cabin in January of this year (07). It s the nicest cabin I have ever rented. Perfect for two+ people. Look at the pictures, and then the price. Wow. If you have the chance ESCAPE TO THIS GREAT FIND! THANKS CRANE FAMILY!!!
