Beautiful and relaxing, gated, two-bedroom, two-bath Penthouse condominiums (North Unit or South Unit) on Mission Bay in Mission Beach with 180-degree views of La Jolla Hill, the Bahia Resort Hotel, and Mission Bay. These spacious (each unit is 1,250 square feet), third-floor condominiums are perfect for families, multi-families or couples looking to get away for a nice, relaxing vacation. Sit on the patio and watch the SPECTACULAR Fireworks Show from Seaworld!
Rent the condos as a 2bd/2ba or as a 4bd/4ba. Both of our condos are waterfront and across the hall from each other. Rent the entire 3rd floor out! Our 4bd/4ba set-up is great for multi-families.
The secure elevator brings you right up to both front doors. Relax and unwind on the beautifully tiled and furnished balconies or catch some rays on the sand or in the water. Just steps away from the bay boardwalk, one short block from the ocean and two blocks north of Mission Bay Park & the Famous Belmont Roller Coaster!
The large and spacious master bedrooms have a king-size bed (South unit) made up of two extra long twin beds or Cal King (North unit). There is a large closet, an adjoining master bath, and TV with cable and VCR/DVD player. Open up the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze! The second bedroom has a double-sized Murphy bed (South unit) or two twins (North unit), work desk (South Unit), a large walk-in closet, and TV with cable and VCR/DVD player. The spare bathrooms have a shower/tub. There is also a crib and highchair in the South Unit or a pack n' play in the North Unit for the little ones!
The kitchen has everything you need to serve up a feast! Lots of storage space for groceries and a breakfast bar with stools and bay views (South Unit). The living room has a plush leather couch, leather chair with ottoman, leather recliner and rocking chair (South Unit). Living room also has a 36-inch TV with a VCR and DVD player. Watch your favorite show or just relax on the couch and look out to the amazing view of the bay through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The gas fireplace is always nice for chilly evenings.
Both of our condominiums are directly west of the Bahia Resort. Enjoy a ride around the bay on the Bahia Belle. The units are just a five-minute drive to Sea World, and just a short drive to the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It is also just a few miles from downtown San Diego, the San Diego Airport, and La Jolla's famous tide pools. We needed to be in SD for a family wedding and did not want to stay at a hotel. This condo was perfect for us. We made a trip to Trader Joe's, stocked up and were set for the 3 days. The kitchen had everything we needed, the king bed was quite comfortable, we felt secure with the keyed elevator and we had a parking place! The bay was steps away and the ocean was a short two block walk. This was a quiet oasis and our cousins were a bit jealous, they were staying at the resort and liked the condo better. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

You never know what to expect when looking online for a vacation rental but this rental was exactly like it was decribed. When I saw this property, I was very excited to stay there. I had questions and Kelly was very responsive and informative. My family and I stayed there over Labor Day Weekend.The condo is right on the bay and my son enjoyed playing in the sand and building sand castles. The decor is comfortable and everything is provided for you, even the beach toys and boogie boards! The location was perfect! So close to Mission Beach, we didn't even move the car. Kelly has a great caretaker and she catered to our needs. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was nice to cook meals in the kitchen,which overlooks the bay. It was wonderful waking up to the great breezes you get off of the bay. I loved being on the third floor and the building was very secure. My family and I really enjoyed our time together and loved staying at the condo. I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back.

Generally speaking, we were happy with the condo...especially being on the 3rd floor. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Location was really good if you prefer to stay off the ocean front. Lots of conveniences ... food, groceries, coffee shop, ice cream and souveniers. Also, drive to SeaWorld and the Zoo was very close. Lots of room for our family of 5. There was a little work that needed to be done. The windows didn't all open or close. Also, there was a bit of a musty smell. Overall would recommend.

My husband, adult son, daughter-in-law, my 16 month old grandson, and I stayed at this condo for 3 nghts in May, 2010. I found it on-line. I was extremely pleased with our experience. The owner was very helpful in answering my questions and the photos were exactly as we found the unit. I picked this condo for bay-side beach and close approximation to Sea World as well as child friendly. It was perfect and we really enjoyed walking everywhere-to Belmont Park, resturants, and along the boardwalk. We would definently return and I highly recommend it to others.

Happy New Year Kelly, Our Christmas and week at the condo was perfect. Everything from the condo itself, to its location, to the weather were all great! While it snowed in Wisconsin, it was 60's and a few 70's in San Diego. We did get a chance to meet Heather (property manager) and she went out of her way to see that we had what we needed. We are already thinking of when we can get back out to San Diego...so much to do yet so little time. Thank you for all of your hospitality. Christmas 2007 is one of the best Christmas's I've ever had. My memories will forever be filled with the view from the condo deck, the comforting warmth of your home, and our whole family being able to share this experience together. Thank you again. John M
