The 4 days and 3 nights spent in this lovely little cottage, fondly referred to as "Ms Mellie's Little Lean-to" was enchanting. From morning's first light filtering through the trees as the sun rose over the mountain until the last hint of day as night fell on the deck, it was a joy to spend time there. The ammenities are plentiful and the location is superb! Hopefully, we will be able to return often to explore Asheville, hike in the mountairns, or just relax and enjoy the calm. Thank you for a lovely stay in "Ms. Mellie's Little Lean-to"!

My two girlfriends and I have been up to Ivy Hill now 12 or 13 times over the last few years and love it. Nothing else in Asheville compares in terms of location, convenience, ammenities, privacy, and charm. We call it "our little cabin", and from the time we leave it, we anxiously await our next visit. Melanie has filled the cabin with warm, creative, and inviting personal touches that make Ivy Hill an amazing little retreat.

My husband and I with our 12 month old stayed here last fall. The cabin was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with all of the nicities from home. The jacuzzi was perfect and very romantic at night with the white Christmas lights that gave just the right amount of sparkle to set the tone. It's veer close to the Builtmore and we enjoyed a nice Sunday brunch there during our stay. I recommend this place as a great spot for someone who wants to be close to everything (like we did since we had a toddler who we needed to bring back for naps) but also be surrounded by trees in a beautiful setting.

What a truly delightful place to spend Memorial Day weekend. Hard to choose between just staying at the cabin or going out sightseeing. Evening fires on the deck, priceless. Beautifully decorated, great artwork, fab location, better than a 5 star hotel. Thank you for allowing us to share it. Kay and Mari Ryan

We spent 10 days over Christmas for a perfect Holiday. The cabin was beautifully and festively decorated for us. Cabin charming and perfectly equipped for a most comfortable stay in a wondrous setting. Will definately return unless I've found one of my own just like it. Highly recommended.

Ivy Hill is an absolutely charming place! The views from the picture window in the living room and the deck are beautiful! Asheville and the magnificent Grove Park Inn are minutes(5) away! We loved everything about the cabin and look forward to returning again and again. We have told all out friends about this special place. It would be a great Honeymoon spot!
