When you close your eyes and think of paradise, some may see a beach scene, others the mountains. For those who like mountains, there are few as spectacular as Lone Peak at Big Sky, Montana.
Our condominium is spacious, with nearly 2,800 square feet of living space. The living room has a 28 foot ceiling with a 12 foot wide stone fireplace, and windows that look out over Lake Lavinsky, the Mountain Village and Lone Mountain Peak.
After a day of skiing, fishing or golfing, enjoy yourself on the deck with a panoramic view and watch the the beautiful sunset over Lone Peak and then view the specacular stars in the 'Big Sky.' Or, sit by the fire and enjoy the crackling wood burning fireplace, while you read, listen to music or watch TV.
Our home is beautifully decorated with original art, faux painting, and a growing library. We have a large dining room, spacious kitchen, two TV areas, as well as lots of movies and games as well as our private jacuzzi room
We are ten minutes to the lifts on the shuttle. Our building has a heated garage in the basement and an elevator to take you to our 3rd floor apartment. There are hotel carts to simplify moving in and out.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Well equipped pleasant and fairly spacious 3 to 4 bedroom - 3 bath - 2 story condo - 5-10 minutes from the lifts with indoor parking for 1 vehicle and outdoor parking for 1 vehicle. The owners are the Lt Governor and Second lady of Montana; and were a pleasure to deal with. No issues, no grief, no problems - I would rent it again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2000
About the owner: I had a 33 year career as a small businessman in Billings, MT, where my wife Bette and I owned a women's apparel store. I was fortunate, in that I made some good investments and was able to retire at 56. I had always been interested in politics, but knew I could never run for office while I still had a business and 6 kids at home. In retirement, and with my children raised, I ran for Montana's House of Representatives, where I served 3 terms, then ran for the Montana Senate, where i was elected to 2 terms. In the middle of my second term, Brian Schweitzer invited me to be his running mate, and in 2004 we were elected Governor and Lt. Governor for the State of Montana. We were re-elected in 2008, and on 12/21/2012, I will be term limited in my position as Lt. Governor. I am interested in public policy and would like to be able to continue as an advocate for the common good.
Why the Owner Chose Skycrest:
I have had the good fortune to have been able to travel a good deal, and from the perspective I have gained, I have not found a year-round-resort equal to or better than Big Sky.
