Simplify the logistics of your ski vacation. This Gold rated condo is the CLOSEST RESIDENCE to the two lifts in the Center Village. Why carry your equipment any further than you have to in those clumsy ski boots? Being so close to the lifts makes it easy to take a quick break from the cold and get right back to the fun, fast! Others say they're just steps away from the lifts, Copper One Lodge really is. There is no better location at Copper Mountain Resort.
This One Bedroom is comfortable for a couple and a couple of kids, or another couple on the sofa bed. It is possible for an adult to get a good nights sleep on our sofa bed since we changed out the mattress. An adult can't do that on any other Copper issued sofa bed in the resort. They're typical sofa beds, ok for kids, but adults can't sleep on them. I've tried it. It was impossible, so we replaced the mattress with a queen adults can sleep on.
Check out the comments that some of our previous guests have been compelled to write in the traveler reviews section at the bottom of this page.
In a gold rated condo you won't find a crowd of college kids playing music into the wee hours of the night. Yes, it does happen, but not in Copper One Lodge. The partiers rent the old Silver rated condos that have extra floor space for lots of sleeping bags.
All the activities happen just outside Copper One Lodge in the Burning Stone Plaza. Fireworks, Bonfires, Street Performers, Stores, Shops, Equipment Rentals, Restaurants, bars. It's all right here!

If you want to be close to the action and the lifts, this is the place to stay. It's peaceful and quiet in the condo, even during concerts! The sunsets in Colorado are always amazing and you'll have a front row seat on our west-facing balcony.

Why the Owner Chose Copper One
When we looked into buying a condo we only searched in Copper One Lodge. It's the closest condo the lifts in the Center Village. We wanted to walk as little as possible in our ski boots. Copper Mountain is our favorite place to ski. It's easy to find and easy to navigate once you're here. There are no cars in the village. You can park your car underground in the heated parking garage and not have to use it again because everything you need is in this quaint European style village. There is a grocery store, many restaurants, ice skating and a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory next to the entrance to our building. That could be bad if you have no will power. Copper Mountain is a family friendly resort that caters to both beginner and advanced skiers. Beginners can ski green runs from near the top of the mountain and enjoy incredible high mountain vistas not seen on beginner slopes at other resorts. Advanced skiers can find steep bowls above tree-line and all this is easily accessible. There are some giant jumps for the boarders and Woodward allows you to perfect your flips and spins inside with foam landing pits year round.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
This condo is the closest condo to the lifts in the Center Village at Copper Mountain. Great for a family with small children who don't want to carry skis while walking in ski boots before and after skiing.
Owner's Map of Copper One
I'm an active realtor in the state of Colorado so you can be confident that all my statements are true, accurate and I will not disappoint you. Some say they have ski in ski out condos at Copper. How can that be when the streets are heated, unless you want to give your skis a quick base sanding at the end of the day. There are some true ski in ski out condos at Copper, they're over 30 years old. If you like to build a fire with wood then those condos would be great. We have the gas log style, just turn it on. We live in Golden and have skied all over Colorado and California. We love Copper for the variety of terrain and the ease of access!

There's really not much more that I can say that other reviewers haven't already said. I was there in August for Warrior Dash and the location couldn't have been more perfect. We were right in the center of everything and could walk to restaurants, bars & shops - it was nice to not have to drive anywhere once we arrived. And as everybody else has stated, Ron was always available by phone and very accomodating & helpful. I plan to come back next August.

This is the first time I've rented a condo at Copper and it was perfect for our needs. The location can't be beat for a weekend on the mountain. It had everything we needed. It has been well cared for and was very clean/comfortable. Ron was fantastic to work with. He was very flexible and responded to all emails and calls very quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone this ski season.

Thanks Ron! ..... We visited Copper Mountain to attend the Jazz Festival. After 6+ hrs of driving from Albuquerque, my wife and were not disappointed when we arrived to the Copper One Building. The unit we occupied was conveniently located to key areas of interest in the village. Once we parked our vehicle in the secure parking garage, we did not have to start the engine again until it was time to return to Albuquerque. The unit was clean, very spacious, and exceeded our needs. Due to our great experience, we have already recommended this property to friends and also decided that we will visit Copper Mountain again in the near future. Favorite Restaurant: CB Grille......Thanks again!

Our family had a wonderful time in this condo. It is very comfortable, clean, and accessible. American Eagle is a very short walk, and you can't beat the heated underground parking. Ron was super nice to work with and we can't speak highly enough of him. You won't be disappointed staying here.

We were looking for an inexpensive honeymoon that would still be special and relaxing. Ron's condo was fantastic!! Not only was the condo itself nice, but the location is ideal for a quite summer get-away. Ron made everything hassle-free and we couldn't have had a more enjoyable honeymoon! Thanks Ron!

Decided to take a last minute trip to the slopes although had never used VRBO before. All I can say is Ron made the experience a breeze. First, he's a very accommodating guy - keyed us in on all the great places to go while we were in Copper. Second, his condo was fantastic! It truly is right in the the middle of all the action and the condo was very cozy! Fireplace, deep bath tub, hot tub, balcony...this place has it all. We were truly impressed.
