Our mountain vacation home is located in Buffalo Village Condominiums and is surrounded by national forests. This 1150 square foot condo is located on the 4th (top) floor. The condo has recently been remodeled with new tile and carpet throughout as well as new furniture in the second bedroom. We take exceptional care of the condo so that you will feel welcome and comfortable.
This is the perfect place for couples, families and friends. There are 3 queen beds in separate rooms and a queen sofa sleeper in the family room. The condominium itself has a large family room with a wood-burning fireplace, and a big functional kitchen with everything you will need.
The amenities in the complex include a pool table, video games, a tennis court, a raquet ball court, a huge indoor pool and hot tub. It is just downstairs - no need to sprint through the snow- just use the elevator!
But a vacation home, no matter how many amenities it comes with, is only as good as the nearby vacations; where else in North America can you experience 4 world-class ski resorts all within the same county and within minutes of one another? In the winter, there are also ample off-slope activities to keep every member of the family entertained and happy: shopping, dog sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, sledding/tubing, ice skating, dinner sleigh rides, and snowshoeing to name a few!
In the summer, the choices of activities rival those of winter: 18-hole golf courses, fishing, horseback riding, sailing, chair-lift rides, guided nature hikes, alpine slides, mountain biking, festivals, llama treks, gold panning, white-water rafting, and adjacent to National Forest hiking trails.

Great Relaxing Space

This unit was very spacious nicely furnished and clean. Our kids enjoyed each getting their own bed. They also enjoyed the basket full of goodies - that was a hit! The kitchen is well equipped, so we ate in most of our meals, Our kids were disappointed in the game room, but we enjoyed the swimming pool, Whenever we were swimming we had the pool to ourselves which was great. Our only negative was that the unit got too hot in the summer time. We were thankful for the two fans and ceiling fan. We could have used one more fan. It was very quiet while we were there. We just enjoyed hanging out, taking in the great view from the deck, plus walking on a trail right outside the condo. We would recommend this unit to our friends.

We stayed in this condo for our annual family ski trip and were very pleased. The kitchen was stocked with necessary utensils for making and eating dinner and breakfast (we packed lunches for on the hill). The family room was very comfortable for relaxing and playing games after a day of skiing. The bedrooms were well appointed and very comfortable for our group. The condo has been well maintained and updated (tile flooring in kitchen, heated floors, carpeting). We barely heard a sound after 8:30 at night from neighboring units, so sleeping was not an issue.The owners were very pleasant to work with and very responsive to questions or requests. Overall, the condo provided everything we could have needed to make our vacation relaxing and enjoyable.

The owners maintain this unit to a very high standard, and the furnishing are all top quality. The condo was as good as advertised, and the photos accurately portray the unit's appearance. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The owners were very helpful in answering our questions and concerns. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a high quality rental at a fair price. We would rent this same unit again.

This was the second time we have stayed at this condo. It is absolutely beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. The management does a nice job of maintaining the whole building and the Ryan's have painted and decorated nicely. You will be very comfortable here! You'll want to bookmark this site.

Cozy Yet Spacious Mountain Retreat

Why would anyone stay at a hotel when they could book such a spacious, yet cozy mountain retreat like this? My husband and I stayed in this unit over Thanksgiving weekend, and my brother and his family stayed in a unit on the first floor near the pool. We felt this top-floor unit offered better views and we liked the layout better. It also contained an extra loft bedroom, which kids would love. New carpet and radiant-heated tile flooring was a really nice touch on frosty days to warm your feet. Thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace and the breath-taking sunrises and sunsets with views of the mountains and the town outside the living room and bedroom. We also enjoyed cooking breakfast each morning in our unit rather than paying exorbitant hotel breakfast prices. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (besides food of course), such as pots, pans, dishes, and even small stuff like plastic wrap, tupperware containers and extra paper towels, which were really appreciated. A large grocery store and many shops and restaurants were just at the bottom of the hill leading up to the complex. There are no restaurants directly on site and the complex is not in a bustling area, so if you are a big party-animal or looking for nightlife, this might not be the place for you. But if you are looking for a peaceful mountain retreat with lots of room and the comforts of home, this is it!

We've has stayed in many other VRBOs as it is the ONLY way to go for travel! My family joined some friends from work for an extended weekend ski trip from Florida. We stayed here; my work companions stayed at two other VRBOs in the area. In comparison, we had the best place. In addition, this has been the most warmest and homiest vacation rental to date. All the usual amenities PLUS a welcome basket full of goodies. We stayed over super bowl weekend so I made a big pot of chili for our work gang. All the seasonings were available so I didn't have to go out and spend tens of dollars for a few cents worth of spices. This unit has it all including a beautiful view and a very handy large basket on wheels to load in and out baggage and groceries; very useful for all that ski equipment. The unit is located 30 minutes or less from everything. We skied Copper twice and went dog sledding on Saturday. My son 'SEA' had a ball, who is the most important "reviewer"! The local wi-fi let us research online prices; the owners have ski coupons available too, although we purchased an E-Book online through Eduproject that saved us a bundle. I think the 'piece-de-resistance' was my 4 year old found in the unit his favorite board game of Connect-4. We played it for hours in front of a roaring fire. The heated floors were a nice plus to give your tired, cold tootsies a treat. The only downside was the night we finally had a chance to use the indoor heated swimming pool, it was closed (other nights it had been open); the other building's was open but we decided that we were just to tired to make the very short trek. The contract with the owner went perfectly and Janeen was so very helpful. Not sure if we'll be able to make it to CO in 2011 but would definitely stay here again. 5 Star Rating!
