Come see the best that Southern California has to offer; sun, sea, beach, fun and most important, location. Just steps away from beautiful Strands Beach, in the prestigious Dana Point/Monarch Beach area and a short one-hour drive to Los Angeles or San Diego, 30-40 minutes to Disneyland, allowing you the flexibility to decide what you want to do each day.
Conveniently located between the Ritz Carlton, St. Regis & Montage resorts, this five-star 1,100 sq ft condominium is designed with all of your travel needs in mind. On the beach side of Pacific Coast Highway but not next to the highway making this a tranquil place to stay. Our condo unit is the closest to the beach, less than 3 minutes depending on what you are carrying.
This is a non-smoking environment. We have one of the largest 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms in the complex with vaulted crown molding ceilings throughout. We are an upper unit with ocean breezes. The Kitchen is loaded with stainless steel appliances, fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a scrumptious sit down dinner before a night out on the town; yet simple enough to enjoy a quick meal on the large granite counter area before heading off to catch some waves.
Sit and read a book in privacy, watch TV on a large Plasma screen or enjoy a video in the comfort of the large sectional, before heading off to bed. The Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom includes a premium euro pillow top queen mattress, while the guest bedroom offers a choice of two twin beds and a premium memory queen bed; with quality linens to ensure a restful good night sleep. Large ceiling fans in each room for your comfort. We disinfect all TV remotes/phone and clean all linens after each guest. The closets are custom built and there is plenty of drawer space in each room, so don't worry about bringing too much clothes (unless of course, you would rather go shopping). Two separate bathrooms, with top of the line fixtures, and stacked washer/dryer are nicely tucked away and easy to use. Enjoy LCD/HD-TV/DVD in your master bedroom and LCD/DVD in the second room. Fast speed secure wireless internet through out. Clutter free room for all your belongings. We also have a port crib, high chair and light stroller upon request. Owners are located close by from Bandit’s Cove if you need any assistant.
Pool and 2 spas are heated all year. We supple beach towels/sand toys/ umbrella & chairs. Our condo unit is the closest to the beach, less than 3 minutes depending on what you are carrying. For beach access we are right across from the walk way directly to the steps, bathrooms and shower and have a funicular (an outdoor elevator) that takes you to the beach. There is covered parking, guest parking and street parking for your RV.

The condo was clean, tidy and well-stocked with any necessary supplies. The location is perfect (a very short walk to the beach!). There are numerous walking trails, restaurants and other interests (The Ocean Institute, nature center, harbor area) that are within a reasonable walk or drive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone (and I am very picky)!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We have stayed at many VRBOs, and this was one of our favorites! The owners had payed attention to every small detail making our stay effortless. We were even greeted with cookies, an Easter basket and egg dyeing kit upon arrival! Our kids were thrilled! The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen has every supply you can think of for cooking and/or baking. The pool is salt water (I think) and warm so we played in it for hours at a time. We were travelling with small children, and the owners of the condo provided all of the "kid stuff"-- high chair, pack and play, stroller, and even toddler rail! It was wonderful not to have to travel with all of that extra gear! The complex is located directly across a busy street from the beach access, but it is still quite a little jaunt down to Strand's Beach for small children. The beach itself was wonderful...Not too crowded, nice sand with a bathroom, a boardwalk, and lifeguard tower. This is a condo, so you have to make a little extra effort to be respectful of the neighbors. I would enthusiastically recommend this condo to anyone looking for a vacation rental in the area.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Everything was just as pictured, such a beautiful area and home. We felt so comfortable and were able to truly relax. My family of four had a wonderful time at the beach and watching movies in the evenings. We were sad to leave Bandit's Cove, we are already planning our next trip. Don't believe any negative reviews you read about this property, everything was clean and more than we expected. Thank you Mike and Michelle. PS if you get the chance try Capt. We really enjoyed our stay at Bandit’s Cove. The condo is beautifully updated, furnished and is stock with most things you can think of. Nice features are DVDs to watch, beach equipment, fairly close to the beach, heated pool. There are many things to do nearby at the Harbor or elsewhere in Orange County. If in the area in the future we would definitely stay here again. This is probably the nicest condo we’ve stayed at renting several through VRBO. Also, the owners are great and helpful.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My family and I came to the U.S. from Spain. We stay at Bandits Cove for first time. It was wonderful. Very clean, close to the beach and many resteruants. We have two small children and the house was comfortable and safe for them as well. We also enjoyed the pool. Next time we visit California we will be staying at Bandit's Cove. We absolutely loved staying at the Bandit's Cove. The condo had everything you need for cooking, for going to the beach and much more. I would definitely return and the owner made it so easy from the moment we got there to when we left. We truly enjoyed our Bandits Cove stay, this past July. Location was perfect for beach and every activity nearby. The condo was filled with every amenity we could've needed. The cookies were a nice touch. The neighborhood was so friendly and just a few steps to the beach. We originally found the Hardy's condo through VRBO when traveling for a work conference and wanting to find a "home" for my family while attending the conference. What a find it has been!?! Impeccable service, thoughtful hospitality, updated furnishings, and clean clean clean... are the first words that come to mind. And then.. there's the location! You're within sight/steps (across the road) of the Salt Creek Beach which is a joy to jog. We've used this same condo now three times--two times for work, one time (most recently) for pleasure. Among the super fun things we did.. Disneyland/California Adventure Park; Captain Dave's Whale Watching (we saw two whales! and loads of dolphins); and Heisler Park tidal pools in Laguna. Do yourself a favor.. stay at the Hardy's condo; kick up your heels and have a worry-free week in SoCal. You deserve it!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

About the owner: Welcome to The Ultimate in 5-Star Living in Dana Point by the Sea. This was our second home for 3 years; we had moved up to the San Francisco from Dana Point, the family began getting so home sick for the Southern California climate that we began spending weekends, summertime and holiday’s staying in hotels and became expensive, which led us to our decision to purchase and remodel this unit for our enjoyment.
