There is plenty to do at 'Beach Time Out' to include the large 14'X24' concrete pool (gated for child safety), hot tub and a poolside Cabana game room complete with wet-bar, full refrigerator, blender, 27' TV, foosball table. Also we have kayak (for ocean or sound) and an outdoor grill and eating area. Bring your bikes - miles of trails to ride! Parking for 5 vehicles.
Perfect for families - with 3 comfortably furnished Master bedrooms - all with private deck access, private baths, TV/DVD players, clock radios, telephones and cedar lined closets. Two other bedrooms are great for the kids - one with 2 sets of bunks, TV/VCR, Gamecube and games, and private hall bath, and one with a duo-bunk, a twin bed, private hall bath and TV/VCR.
The large great room offers deck access, a fully stocked kitchen, dining area for 14 guests, and the Master bedroom with private bath, TV/DVD/VCR, clock radio, telephone, and private deck access. There is also a mid level powder room for all to share.

Our family came here together and had a fantastic time. The 5 youngest cousins had never seen the beach before, and it was amazing. Your house fit us perfectly. We each had our own space, but the large family room allowed us to come together as a whole group. There is so much to do and see, how can 1 week hold it all, and it has gone by so quickly. Our 15 family members met here coming from San Diego, CA, Denver, CO, Kearney, NE and Omaha, NE. The house was perfect with pool and hot tub. We stayed for a week in June before the crowds came. We had a great time, the house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. My husband and I stayed at the above property last May and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house was well appointed and we didn't lack for anything - it felt just like home. Having the hot tub and pool were an added bonus. We especially enjoyed the long walks in the community and having drinks on the sound side when the sun was setting. The ride to the beach was maybe 3 minutes and we always found lots of parking spaces. The house is situated close to everything that we enjoyed. We would definitely request this house again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family stayed here a few weeks ago. We were told that it is 4 blocks to the beach. That is true if you walk through brush, other people's property, other people's houses. It is actually a mile to the beach when sticking to roads or trails. Also, this is sound side not beach side. The house is almost on the coastal highway, so expect a lot of road noise when enjoying the deck. Other missing features--there is no ping pong table, the foosball table doesnt work, the eletronic darts are missing, so have fun with the board. The extensive video collection consists of 7 movies-wow. You can use the kayak, it is there, but there is no life jacket, and getting it to the dock is a hassel because it is a long walk, the kayak takes 2 to carry but only seats one. It's a nice house but the advertising is very misleading. Oh, and forget about ocean views.Owner response: We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay at our house in Corolla. We try to be as descriptive as possile and we do note the house is soundside and within first few sentences indicate you can park at beach parking. Mapquest, google earth,etc are all readily available and I am sorry you did not take the time to research prior to your stay. You had called us before even getting to the house with a list of questions regarding amenties. When we prepare house for the season, all items - foosball table/balls, darts/dartboards, etc are there and in working order. You had called and complained to our management company that the Playstation II that we advertised was not there, when in fact it WAS there. We had a libraby of over 25 - 30 movies at the house this April. Sometimes, renters either take them to other areas of the house, or may take them all together. We cannot address those issues until the end of the season. The kayak is there as an amenity to our guests. The house is not soundfront, so yes you must walk. We, as owners, felt you were angling for MORE of a discount than we already gave you even before you set foot at the house, and seemed like someone who likes to complain. We have only had POSITIVE feedback from prior guests. Our house is one of the few houses in Corolla that you can get in summer for less than $3,000 for a week and have 3 families comfortably. If it were oceanfront, or in 1o r 2 blocks the house would easily rent for over $10,000 per week. Next time I suggest you use readily availabe internet tools before you book, so you know where you are going.

About the owner: We are a family of 4 who live in the Northern Virginia area and have always loved the Outer Banks. We were fortunate to purchase our house and wanted to share it with others!

Our house is a comfortable beach house. It is a moderately priced house, that we feel, enables 2 or 3 families to comfortably enjoy a week at the beach without breaking the bank!!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house is large enough to accommodate 3 families and kids comfortably. We keep a kayak there for our guests to use, and they are also available for rent at the club house. The game room by the pool is always convenient for cold drinks and snacks with having to go back into the house.
