White Sands Retreat - front view - Beacon Hill Beachside Vacation Rental in Dutch Sint Maarten White Sands Retreat (aka 'Bowie Place') is a private, 2 bedroom 1 bath Home just 50 yards from Simpson Bay Beach on Dutch Sint Maarten. Located in a neighborhood of other private homes where your peace and privacy are assured. The spacious Home has been refurnished and equipped with modern appliances. The property features a 1 minute walk to the beautiful 2 mile plus long pristine Simpson Bay Beach, secure parking and an on-site caretaker. This spectacular beach has no ocean undertow, gentle waves for swimming and soft pearl white sand. You can walk the entire length of our beach and perhaps see 5 or 6 people all day. You can stay in or go out and enjoy all the island activities that are very nearby like world class restaurants. 2 private bedrooms with new Queen size beds and choice of firm or plush mattress. Each bright and airy bedroom has individual controlled air conditioning,room safes, dresser with mirror, armoire and share a full bath with large walk-in shower. Both are supplied with fresh towels and all linens. There is an air conditioned full-size living room with TV, DVD and a stereo/CD player.An RJ45 Internet access cable connection is provide with high speed service available at $5 per day or $20 per week. Guest must provide their own computer. The dining room seats 6 guests at a casual round table. The full kitchen has a gas range/oven, microwave, dishwasher and full-size refrigerator with automatic ice maker. For your convenience, there is an under-sink water filtration system for drinking water and is also connected to the ice-maker. No need for bottled water even though the tap water is perfectly fine for drinking, too. There is a full supply of plates, glasses, tableware, cooking utensils, pots and pans as well as toaster, blender and drip coffee-maker. The back deck is partially covered and has an additional table and chairs. For the outdoor chef, there is a stainless steel 4- burner gas BBQ grill with lobster pot side burner. The front porch is a great place to sip your morning coffee or enjoy your end of day cocktail.
