Thanks so much for such wonderful accommodations. The condo was extremely comfortable for our group of four adults and one child. The grounds of the condo are immaculate and the pool extremely well maintained and clean. The staff at the Maui Sunset were extremely friendly and helpful for planning our Maui activities. We enjoyed the beach outside the condo for walks and sunsets. Head just a short drive north to Maluaka beach for wonderful snorkeling and swimming. Thanks so much...we'll definitely stay again if we return to Maui.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this condo. It had everything we needed and was close to all the activities we participated in. The ocean view from the lanai and kitchen was spectacular. The grounds were amazing. The activity director at Maui Sunset was so helpful and was able to get us some good deals on activities. We would definitely come again. Mahalo!

Fantastic Condo and Location

This was our second stay at Maui Sunset, but the first in this unit. The pictures don't do justice to how nice the condo is. With 2 adults and 2 kids we had more than ample room. The Maui Sunset complex is among the nicest we've seen on the island and is a great mix of locals and visitors. We met so many nice people during evenings at the pool or bbqs. We can't say enough good things about this unit and the friendly owners. We're already thinking about next year.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The supplies in this condo are endless. Boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. BBQ's. Full kitchen, comfortable living room and best of all, the peaceful palm trees blowing in the breeze viewed from the spacious lanai. Can you tell we loved it ? We will definitely come back to visit the Durrants paradise home. Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo!!!!

A week in the comfortable accommodations of your home-away-from-home was both practical as well as enjoyable. A family of five plus Grandma had plenty of space to put our feet up after long days of hiking, snorkeling, and whale watching. The complex itself is a green oasis, and a perfect jumping off point for day trips around the island. Mahalo nui loa for sharing your paradise getaway.

Once again Jim and Carol, we were in our own little paradise here at the Maui Sunset for two weeks. We enjoyed our "Green" family time as we explored new places and went back again to places that we have to come to love. But your home here on Kihei makes every moment stand still in time. You have brought the comforts of home to A-408 which makes our time here perfect. The second week we had the "Gamble" side arrive and what a precious time it was for Eileen to have her folks share in the fun of Maui. They couldn't believe the thought you went through with every area of your place here. We look forward to looking in our calendars and booking our next trip! Thinking you should join us next time! 2011...think on it!

Clean and Quiet!!!

This condo was very clean and quiet in a good location, just a short drive to beaches, shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. The condo was perfect for our family of five. The beds were super comfortable and the amenities great. The only downside was that the shower and tub need to be updated like the rest of the condo. They were stained and drained very slowly. The air conditioners in each room worked beautifully and the ceiling fans were wonderful too! It was a blessing to have the washer and dryer right in the condo. The pool was beautiful and clean! Our favorite activity was the snorkel trip out to Molokini crater and turtle town. A must do!!! We actually swam with turtles and fish. Thank you for a beautiful time in your condo. We would definitely recommend it to others and hope to return sometime!

Fantastic! We were so lucky to have picked your condo. The interior decorating in the condo was beautiful and relaxing. Everything was there that we could have ever needed. It was like home away from home. My husband couldn't get over the grass in the commons area, and our children loved the pool. Late night swimming under the moonlight! We met so many nice people in the complex. Top notch! We can't wait to visit again! Thank you Jim & Carol!

We stayed at this lovely condo from July 19-26, and we were so impressed with everything. The view from the lanai was breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting out there every morning and evening looking at the ocean and beautiful garden of Maui Sunset, it was truly paradise. The condo is so clean and beautifully decorated, loved the island decor and the master bedroom! It was our first visit to Maui and we truly enjoyed ourselves and having a comfortable and cozy place to return to each night was wonderful. Thanks Carol and Jim for everything, we hope to return again soon!

This was an unforgettable 2 weeks in Maui! This condo is one of kind. Perfectly kept,cleaned and stocked with things you'd never believe. The Durrants have done just an outstanding job of thinking everything through to make our stay at the Maui Sunset perfect. Our nights by the pool with the tiki torches lighted, our dinners on the lani watching others enjoy the barbecues, the wonderful Hawaiian trade winds that made our nights spectacular!!!Don't pass this one up! Don't forget to read and sign the guest book! It gives you some wonderful ideas that others have passed on. Thank-you Jim and Carol for sharing your Hawaiian Paradise with the rest of us!
