Come enjoy the summer fun, Gorgeous changing fall colors! This lovely, six bedroom home, 2500 square feet, Air Conditioned, with large windows sits on a hill surrounded by water on TWO lakes (Spider and Bass Lakes). You feel like you are on your own island - but its a penisula. You enjoy over 2200 feet of private (not shared) scenic lakeshore on almost three acres of wooded setting, privacy is assured.
Listen to the Loons in the morning and evenings...its fun, beautiful, romantic -- a HOT TUB, kayaks, pontoon boat and row boat and more! A kids log cabin to play in, you can play in it too. Best of all, it is nestled in a quiet cove off Spider lake where there is tubing, jet-skiing, sailing, and two private beaches. You will enjoy great swimming with many sandy islands on which to picnic. Spider Lake teems with bass, bluegill, perch, pike, and crappie contained within 29 miles of shoreline.
Bass Lake is the fisher's secret fishing lake and is perfect for swimming and peaceful row boating. The master bedroom (550 square feet) has cathedral ceilings and huge windows, as do all the rooms in the home which overlooks the sparkling lakes and scenic view. King bed with pillow top, top of the line bed. It easily sleeps 12 but accomodates up to 16.
Safety and disclosures: We want you to rent the right kind of cottage for your needs hence we wish to share all cottage information. Safety is a guest responsibility and our concern. No lifeguard is present at Spider Lake Cottage and swimming, hot tub, dock and boating is “at your own risk — no diving please.” Please supervise children and know your physical limits. Supervise both children and pets at all times--especially supervise around all roads, water, fire ring, grill, stove, and in the home. The home has a spiral staircase that can be unsafe for small children when not supervised. There is not preventive gate to keep small children from going up and down, this is a guest responsibility to manage their children and design safe sleeping accommodations. Wear shoes or water sandals to protect your feet. The cottage is neither allergy free nor setup for handicapped access. Remain alert to wildlife that can be harmful and poisonous. Please check all smoke alarms and Fire Extinguishers to ensure they work, review FIRE Evacuation Plan and inform us immediately if there are any problems.
