Haus Wussler, the modern guesthouse, which was built in 1992 as well as the typical Black Forest farmhouse 'Valley View' of our traditional Black Forest Farm, are located on a sunny plateau, surrounded by meadows and forests, with a splendid panoramic view of the Kinzig Valley / Black Forest.
Relax in the comfortable holiday apartments ('4 Stars DTV' 2009) with balcony or terrace of 1992 or in the historic farmhouse 'Valley View' of 1839, which was renovated and modernized in 2010.
Enjoy the garden areas with a barbecue site and the large sun-terrace providing all facilities for a relaxing vacation in an idyllic location.
'Haus Wussler' is family and children-friendly. Seniors, singles and couples will feel comfortable and will spend a pleasant vacation at our farm.
The children love the farm-animals and the playground with swings, slide, a playhouse and sandbox as well as the large meadows with soccer goals, badminton and table-tennis.
The adults like the quiet location and beautiful nature and also our home-made products, e.g. an original Black Forest 'Kirschwasser' or 'Obstler' schnaps from our distillery.
Enjoy nice walks (also with your dog), hiking, Nordic walking, mountain-biking etc. in the forests next to our property and in very beautiful surroundings.
Dogs are welcome, after prior information.

Gengenbach (3 km) is a picturesque medieval city with a historic town-centre, idyllic narrow streets, half-timbered houses, museums, facilities for wellness, sports and recreation, spas, swimming-pools, shops and supermarkets, pubs, inns, restaurants, wine-taverns and cafés.

if you have dogs love good food, want to experience the beauty of Germany and insist on high standards of hygiene, then this is the place for you. the owners are on site at for assistance, nothing is too much trouble , although the owners are on site they are not intrusive. the accommodation is excellent i spent two glorious weeks here the weather is warm all day and cool in the evening (September) the shutters on all windows means you can sleep in a cool dark room at night or day my two dogs had the time of their lives playing in the various meadows no traffic means they are safe to play. i cannot praise this place enough. i have booked tree weeks next year and can't wait to return.Did you find this review helpful? We stayed at Haus Wussler this past June 2012 with our family of 5 (Children ages 18, 16 and 14) in the Valley View apartment. We can’t say enough about this lovely place. It is a few minutes out of charming Gengenbach on a working farm with fantastic views of the Valley. The sunsets were incredible from our flat! The flat is enormous, tastefully decorated and thoroughly modern. The kitchen is fully equipped and lacks for nothing. Barbara and her husband, Erwin, could not be any more gracious and helpful. They picked us up from the train station and even drove us to the grocery store at 9 at night! Farm fresh eggs were on our door step every morning. We loved the town of Gengenbach as a base for traveling in the Black Forest area. (We had rented a car.) We hiked and biked and visited Baden-Baden, Freiburg and Strasbourg, among other places. We've stayed in this beautiful house for a week, with our 3 years old son. The facilities of the house were so full with thought, convenience - that made our staying enjoyable. The playing yard, the farm with the animals made our son very happy, and for us the opportunity to get some rest. Barbara and Erwin, the owners of the house were hospitable, took care of any our request, played with our son- riding the tractor, feeding the animals. Thank you for wonderful vacation. We sure to come again, and sincerely recommend this villa for the vacation. Alex and Miri Zektser 9/2010Recommended for: Families with young children.
