  We are a youth group from Jacksonville, Florida and we had an AMAZZZZINGG time staying at Moose Hollow. It HUGE and spacious for everyone. Everyone of all ages was able to enjoy the variety of things to do and relax and have fun! And when we were leaving, its started snowing! That is amazing, because we are from FL and some haven't even ever in there life. So it was the cherry on top to our trip!

  We got married at Moose Hollow Lodge on March 9, 2013. It was the most gorgeous place I could have dreamed of. We had 60 of our closest friends and family that came to stay at Moose Hollow with us to celebrate. I was a little skeptical of us having enough room, but with a pool house, a theatre, and hot tubs everyone was able to do whatever they wanted without feeling too confined. The day of the wedding was incredible and we even had caterers working in the kitchen. The staff at Moose Hollow was always there if we had any questions, and we were incredibly happy. All of our guests praised the gorgeous view and lodge and their only complaint was that we didn't stay longer!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Owner response: Clarissa- You have validated what I tell people all the time. I always mention that Moose Hollow Lodge has more covered space than another lodge in the Smoky Mountains. The private Lodge, Pool, and chapel included as a single price allows all of the guests the flexibility to roam around and enjoy everything without having to rush because another wedding party is coming in the same day.. Please come back and visit again and again.. :)

  "Moose Hollow Lodge" was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway. The mansion is magnificent in person and the photos certainly reflect the appearance and amenities of the property. "Moose Hollow Lodge" comfortably fit all 50 adults that came for the weekend getaway. From the outdoor jacuzzi to the indoor pool to the game room filled with an air hockey table, pool table and classic arcade games there are a variety of fun activities to partake in at the mansion itself. "Moose Hollow Lodge" was also close to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge yet far enough to enjoy the beautiful array of stars in the night sky. If you're seeking a vacation filled with a mixture of fun activities, relaxation and beautiful scenery than "Moose Hollow Lodge" is the place for you!

  The students and leaders of FBC Lexington had a great time at Moose Hollow Lodge! We had everything we needed all in one location which was key with a total of 51 people, which included 42 middle school and high school students. The game room and theater were both a big hit and we enjoyed using the chapel for devotions and worship services...great set-up for our Winter Retreat! This is an awesome multi-purpose facility...lots to do and well stocked and an excellent location. It is close enough to town and convenient to the grocery store. The owner is easy to deal with and was very patient in answering all of my questions. I have already told other friends that work with youth and other church groups about this awesome place!!!

  We just spent a few nights at the Moose Hollow Lodge celebrating my parents' 50th Anniversary. What a fantastic place to say the least!! The Lodge and all of its amenities, which is countless, was exactly what we were looking for to sleep, feed, and entertain 24 family members. From the age of 3 months to 78 years, everyone was entertained comfortably going from the pool, theater, game room, karaoke, and lounging in the living room. When some wanted to explore Pigeon Forge we were literally only minutes away. The coolest thing was my 8-17 year old nieces and nephews kept taking pictures to post on Facebook in order to brag to their friends!! Everyone wished they had more time to explore everything the Lodge had to offer!! If you are looking for someone to cater your meals you must pick Chef Ray of Fruitful Vintage! Him and his wife were fantastic, professional, entertaining to watch, and boy their food was outstanding. I can say with all honesty after researching hundreds of places to stay both in TN and outside to accomodate the needs of a large family reunion --- Moose Hollow Lodge has no competition!! Thank you for a wonderful experience as my family celebrated one of the biggest milestones in my parents' lives!

As you know it is very difficult to put an event together that everyone is happy with, especially of the varying ages.   Great looking place! Wished it were open for us but we'll try back next year! If you have any contacts for a place like this for Dec. 27-29 let us know. We'll shoot for 2014 for this one.

  Hi All, It is with pleasure that I give a review of such an awesome place. Moose Hollow Lodge has everything that any group need to complement any event. This property has plenty of room for comfort and fun. With its very own chapel, this property gave us the ability to worship and praise God while still enjoying the amenities like the indoor swimming pool and very large game room. The beds are comfortable which allows our members to sleep in peace. Each morning, I notice our member sitting on the balcony watching the splendor of nature. The kitchen has an ergonomic structure which made it easy for our private chef to cook and serve meals. And most of all, Moose Hollow Lodge has a peaceful environment that allowed our members to leave all their worries at the bottom of the mountain while rebuilding friendships, familyships, and fellowship on top of the mountain. Moose Hollow Lodge has been the best venture of stay that our retreat has ever encountered. A survey of our member has revealed a huge interest to return next year. If you are contemplating about renting this property, let me put your mind at easy. GO FOR IT because IT IS WORTH IT.

  This location is sooo awesome! I would refer this location to everyone and anyone that just wanted to get away to spend with God, family and/or friends. The home is beautiful and complete with everything you may need to make your stay as if you were in your own home. As I stood on the balcony of this home, I was amazed at the beauty that surrounded this location, it was just breath taking! I enjoyed everything about this location from the newly built chapel, the home itself, the beds (So Comfortable), the full and complete kitchen (with everything you need in it), the movie room, and all it has to offer! It even has a full game room! This location is what I call a "FULL Package Deal"!!! I also liked that the property location was close enough to the Grocery Store(Kroger's) for quick runs and close to the city, attractions and restaurants just in case you wanted to step out for a night on the town. Personally, I just wanted to rest and enjoy the home/chapel itself, and trust me I did just that! Thank you Moose Hollow Lodge for provide me with a beautiful experience in your beautiful, clean, and well equipped home. May God bless everyone to have the experience I did while there in your home!

  This was my second time visiting this cabin. This have been the best cabin i have stayed thus far. This place was so wonderful! We immediately felt at home! There was so much to do and so little time. I can't wait to come back and stay longer. This cabin is absolutely gorgeous! Clean, quiet, and comfortable. I loved how it was decorated, fully equipped kitchen, grill, hot tub and fireplace. You left nothing to be desired. Thanks for a great stay. Thank you for creating such a wonderful getaway for people and their families to come together to slow down from their busy lives and get to know each other better and relax, But most of all the chapel you built where we can go and praise God. Thank you for all the love and care you put into providing for your guests along with the pride of ownership which is highly visible!   My husband and I brought 56 youth and adult youth leaders from our church to Pigeon Forge this Spring. We were extremely blessed to stay at The Moose Hollow Lodge. It was by far the best trip I have ever been on. There were so many things to do at the lodge. The students had a blast and took advantage of all the amenities including the family theater, air hockey, pool, hot tubes, and the arcade games which included my personal favorite, pac man game. The lodge was well equipped to hold all 56 of us. We had plenty of room to eat and all fit in the living room for morning worship and devotion time. The maintenance team was also incredible. They were literally only a phone call away. I had to call them a couple of times because we couldn't open the pool door and one time because we couldn't figure out the air hockey table. Both times they were there to help in no time. The Moose Hollow Lodge is definitely well worth every penny. We plan to make it a tradition with our youth group kids to stay there for years to come. We are also extremely excited about the new chapel edition. They were finishing construction on it while we were there so we look forward to using the chapel facilities next year. No matter what age I guarantee you that you will have the time of your life at The Moose Hollow Lodge. I promise you will not be disappointed.   What can I say, next year 2012 will be my 4th consecutive visit to "MHL" Myself and my travel group absolutely love this place. The Cabin features, the location and price have keep me coming back 4 years in a row now. It is equipped with every single thing you need for your stay. Any and every request I have ever made was taken care of without any problems. The maintenance staff is stellar. From coming to take away the trash, to making any needed repairs to refilling the hot tubes. They are the greatest. Always friendly and always a quick response. I have never had a problem with any of the staff. As an event planner that has to please several people I don't have the luxury to make mistakes about where I plan my events. My clients travel from coast to coast and the Caribbean to attend my annul Cabin Getaway. The reason I am in business is because I provide quality customer service and I look for that in return when I am considering booking a rental property. We travel 5 times per year and have stayed in multiple rental properties. I will say that MHL has been the best by far and that is largely because of the property and the staff. We will continue to come back every September....Thank you so much for your first class customer service.

  Our three generation family of 25 rented Moose Hollow Lodge for a week. It was great. The kids just loved the pool, the games, the theater. The kitchen and eating area were perfect for families. It was better than advertised. We were only 20 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Dollywood, River tubing, horseback riding etc. I would recommend it to anyone. We all loved it.

  Our group stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved the accommodations!! Very clean, easy access to town, accurately depicted in photos, delightful amenities. The owner went above and beyond for us in ways too many to list!! If you have a large group, DON'T hesitate to rent. We arrived by motorcoach and the driver was ambivalent about driveway incline, but even that went well!! A definite recommendation!!
