On arrival we were received by the housekeeper. The house is beautifully located with a small canal running along the small garden at the back of the house. Very quiet, but within walking distance of the centre of this old city. The rooms were clean and well kept. The kitchen is very well equipped incl. freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc. Wifi was fine, as well as the collection of DVD's ! THe historic centre of Brugge is a World Heritage site. We loved it. Special recommendation for the St. jans Hospitaal Museum and visit to the Halve Maan Brouwerij. We would have appreciated a small fence for the stairwell to improve safety for small children. Pillows are a point of attention (renewal or cleaning). Roller blinds for the bedroom in the attic are advisable.

The location, interior, garden on the canal, Bruges itself... everything was absolutely fabulous! The house was absolutely perfect for our big family vacation. WI-FI connection in the house was perfect and very handy. We'll be definitely coming buck and recommend to all our friends.

I took a large team of adults to this apartment and traveled from London. In terms of accessibility this house is fantastic, but that's just the start. The house has 6 bedrooms spread over three floors. All have very comfortable beds and are more than sufficient in space. They are also warm and pleasing on the eye. The living room is fantastic- massive tv, and enough sofa's for everyone to have enough to sit comfortably. Also the dining area has 12 seats and a top quality sound system. The chandeliers just boast the class and quality represented consistently throughout the entire house. The kitchen is modern and has all one needs- including a look out onto the canal! The bathrooms, one with bath, are modern and offer hot water! They felt very clean and well maintained. The back garden has a fantastic view onto the canal and seating facilities. Wifi is also very strong throughout the house. English TV channels are also available on the tv. One of the best houses I've stayed in, in Europe.

We loved this house. Minutes walk from the centre but in a nice quiet location with secure out of the way parking for our cars. The house itself was above expectation as whilst the photos on the website are good, they property is even better when you walk in, with quality furnishings and everything you could want for a holiday retreat. We had 3 kids and two grandparents with us, and each one of them also loved it, which is no mean feat to pull off! Owner was easily contactable, and we will definitely be staying here again.

Owner response: John, thank you for your kind review. We'll be more then happy to accommodate you and your family in the future. Dimitri

Beautiful, clean and well-organized and well-maintained house. Enough space for many people, and very comfortable (leather couches, new beds). Nice historic atmosphere because the house is full of nice authentic details such as the floors. Besides that, the location was perfect: only five minutes by foot to the market. Besides that, I left my keys in the house and the owner sent it to me: perfect service! Definitely recommend this house to a large group of people who are looking for a comfortable, authentic and large accommodation.

    Owner response: Thank you, Marjolijn!

We had an excellent weekend with a large group in Bruges. The house was perfect and exceeded our expectations and was plenty big enough for our group of 9. The garage parking was a great benefit also. I'd be happy to recommend the house and will probably stay again.

This was the perfect house for a group of 10 middle-aged friends to stay in over February half term. The house is gorgeous and well equipped, with a pretty canal at the back and 5 minutes walk from Markt. It was cold when we arrived, and we all found the bedding skimpy on the first night, but by the third day it had warmed up and we were all very comfotable. Eating in was easy to manage, and eating out very simple because of the proximity of town. We had only one real criticism; the layout of the back bedroom and bathroom was inconvenient at times. We all had a splendid time and would definitely recommend this house to others. Thank you Dimitri.

Seven of us, Four adults ( parents and grandparents) and three children had a lovely holiday at this well located and attractive property. We bought good food from the local deli for al fresco lunches in the little garden overlooking the quiet canal. The children enjoyed feeding the swans and ducks. We could easily walk to the many local restaurants and we enjoyed many a cup of coffee or pint of beer in the main square. We took a couple of tours by bus and boat, visited local attractions, hired bikes and also just relaxed. The house is well equipped and the dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine were much appreciated.

We (2 families; 4 adults/4 children) rented this wonderful home in Bruges. A perfect location, a terrific house! The owners could not have been more helpful or accommodating. It would be a shame to miss this lovely place.

Dear Dimitri My family and I were so busy enjoying ourselves that we didn't get around to filling in your visitors book so I thought I'd take this opportunity to thank you in this email. This was the first time our family had taken a holiday together since our children married and our grand-daughter was born and we couldn't have been happier with your lovely house. We had plenty of space to spread out and the location was perfect for visiting the sights of Bruges together. Our grand-daughter loved the 'big house' and was very keen to get back each day to see if the swans would come to visit. There were only two small details which we thought would have given us complete peace of mind. Firstly some sort of stair gate would have been appreciated - nevertheless Alice soon realised that she needed help with the stairs and always asked someone to help her up or down. Secondly we had problems with locking and unlocking the front door. Both these issues were minor and didn't for one moment spoil what was a very happy holiday. Finally would you pass on our thanks to George for a friendly and courteous welcome and a smooth checking out procedure. We will not hesitate to recommend your house to our friends and hope to come back some time to repeat what was a lovely experience of family togetherness! Many many thanks

Great location, 8 women together for over a week and there was enough room to spread out. The patio was fantastic and was like adding another room.

8 women stayed here last May, it was spectacular. Perfectly taken care of. We had a small appliance problem that was taken care of immediately. Dmitri is wonderful, the little garden is a slice of heaven right on the canal. I would go back there, as would our entire group, in a heartbeat.
