In the heart of the small medieval town of Monterubbiano, on one of the hills that smoothly descend from the mountains to the sea, sits the 17th century town house in which the Rosa Scarlatta Apartments were integrated. The front of the building, which is typical for the region, looks onto a quiet picturesque piazza and the back of the building, characterized by a large terrace, looks onto the antique terraced garden and the fortifications of the town. Its location of 463 meters above sea level permits panoramic views of rare beauty from the foothills of Monti Sibillini to the sea. The gentle chains of hills covered by a rich and differing vegetation demonstrate the great variety of landscapes of the Picenum. In the adjacent buildings of the palazzo which once served as storerooms five different delightful vacation rental apartments were created that breathe the atmosphere of ancient times. Antique materials harmonize perfectly with the new restauration works and are likely to catch anyone’s eye.

"Vecchio Magazzino" the old storehouse, has an interesting open layout, with great love to historic details. The tiled and wooden floors, the stairs, the iron structures, the ceiling with antique wooden beams, the gallery, the banisters and nonetheless the attic turn this apartment into a stunning and very welcoming place maintaining its atmosphere of ancient times. Its small windows lead onto the picturesque alley and the antique terraced garden which may be accessed via the downstairs of the palazzo tower.

On the ground floor there is a living room with a stove placed in the centre, a kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom. Upstairs, on the gallery there is another sofa bed and one more bedroom, "cielo" or "the sky", situated on the top floor of the building, offers a large double bedroom with bathroom and allows that "la piccola torre" and "il vecchio magazzino" may be combined and can be added to one or the other apartment if so wished.
