Ever dream of vacationing in a cozy cabin high in the North Carolina mountains only minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway? Ever fantasized how nice it would be to wake up snuggled in a warm cozy bed to the sounds of birds, sights of deer and a rushing river and then step out on a deck to sip your coffee as you take in the gorgeous colors of each season. This newly constructed, 2500 square foot, log home overlooks the thirteenth fairway of Mount Mitchell Golf Course. One of the nicest Golf and Country Clubs in our area rated four and a half stars by Golf Digest and consistently ranked in the top ten courses of North Carolina making this not only a great vacation getaway but also suiting the needs of any golfer.

The Nineteenth Hole offers you mountain views from either of the two large decks along with privacy, fresh mountain air, and the relaxing sounds of South Toe River. Or for the more active person maybe try your hand at fly fishing. Take a bike ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway just two miles away. Go tubing at the Carolina Hemlocks Park. Hike to see nearby waterfalls, including Roaring Fork, Setrock Creek, and Crabtree Meadows. Shop for pottery, gems and glassware created by local artisans. Or climb the observation tower at Mount Mitchell, the highest point east of the Mississippi River at 6684 feet.

This three-level home is very private. Finished in native Knotty Pine and equipped with a gas log fireplace, ceiling fans, and central air conditioning for your comfort. There is an abundance of large windows and skylights throughout the home on all three levels which provide you with views of the outdoors.

Upon entering the home you will find yourself in the family room. Get ready to snuggle up on one of the large sofa's in front of the gas log wood stove. the family room has television, cable TV, DVD, and CD player. The entire ground level has solid Oak hardwood floors with carpeted areas in the upper and lower bedrooms.

The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and all the modern appliances you could think of including a gas oven and range, microwave, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. All cookware, dinnerware, and utensils are provided. There is also a picnic table and charcoal barbecue grill on the front deck for your use.

On a rainy night fall asleep to the tranquil sounds of the rain drops hitting on an old fashioned tin roof. Each of the three bedrooms has a large queen-size pine bed and matching dressers. All bed and bath linens are provided.

This home also has its own brand new extra large capacity Whirlpool washer and dryer for your personal laundry needs and a Game room with an AMF Play Master Pool Table, Dart Board, wet bar, refrigerator, and access to the lower deck.
