There was a large group of adults and kids (12+) staying in the "Heidi" house for a couple of days enjoying Summit County and this house was plenty big for us. We really liked all the different bedrooms and living spaces for us to spread out and all of us had plenty of room. The hot tub was a great hit which we used both days. We especially liked the privacy and peace & quiet of Peak 7. We'll definitely be back to stay in this house the next time we travel to Breckenridge. Thanks for a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

House was well represented by property description. The owner was responsive to questions I had and I would highly recommend the property to others. Quick trip down to Breck Connect and Main Street downtown. Hoping to book again next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We set up a last minute stay here for this past weekend. Great place to spread out for a large family. Lots of bedrooms with great views. We had a moose walk past then back door one morning! Older place but well maintained. Everything we needed for the weekend was provided. Recommend a good map or GPS to locate this house.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed here with our three teen/adult children and had a great week. The pictures don't do justice to the spaciousness of the place and the great views. The boys shared the downstairs two bedrooms and the living area and enjoyed the Playstation 2 that were provided. The main floor was spacious and I spent a lot of time following the sun from the back to front deck, reading and enjoying the views. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals and was about the best VRBO kitchen we've ever used. We had plenty of room to spread out in the living and dining areas on the main floor. My daughter took the main floor bedroom and we had the two upstairs bedrooms - one for a dressing room and the other to sleep. All the bathrooms were large and nicely finished. This is a great place and we'd love to return next year. Our only minor disappointment was that the gravel road did not facilitate bike riding, but the guys rented bikes in town and rode 9 miles to Frisco.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

7 members of my bookclub highly enjoyed this cabin in July 2012! There are updated appliances and a great hot tub. We all had our own beds and the view is spectacular and its very close to shopping and downtown. WONDERFUL and hope to do it again next summer!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed in the Heidi from Saturday to Saturday. The trash had forgotten to be taken out by the people before us or the cleaning crew so until Wednesday we had to stash our trash outside (which raccoons got into) Also on Wednesday the hot tub stopped working (which was a big surprise getting into it when its 14 degrees outside) After repeated conversations with the owner the problem still was never solved. The house on the other hand was great it was roomy and comfortable, the all nighter stove was great and was used a lot. Big families would love this especially with its proximity to town. All in all it was a good stay with some minor defects.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

Rented this as a home base in Breckenridge for a long weekend with relatives from Sweden who had never been at altitude before. Lots of things to do in Breckenridge, from riding the Alpine Slide to hiking Quandary Peak and ghost-town hunting on Boreas Pass (and of course, eating at Downstairs at Eric's). We had plenty of room for 13 people and a small dog without tripping over each other. Only glitch was a balky hot tub which we quickly got running with the owner's help; he was very available for questions & any problem-solving, either by email or by phone. I would not hesitate to rent Heidi House again - we had a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.

The owner was very helpful in telling us about the local area and giving us helpful tips for the altitude. The house was in good shape and is fully stocked with everything you need when ur away from hope....I would rent it again! He also gave us info on parking because we had a very big group of people.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.
