The Flamingo Cottage is part of the very exclusive, gated community of Old Florida Beach. This community offers three private beach walkovers and a private pier on Draper Lake. Flamingo Cottage offers four covered decks/balconies. Since there is no highway or busy street to cross, most of the guests walk to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, located 50 yards from your back door.
This gorgeous, private beach offers sugar white sands, beautiful blue water, and all of the relaxation you can handle. If you somehow become tired of the beautiful beaches, the cottage is positioned just ten steps from the community pool and large lanai. With only 40 homes in the community the area maintains a degree of warmth and privacy that will only enhance your vacation experience.
After a day at the beach, The Shops at Gulf Place are just a short stroll away. Gulf Place offers chic boutiques, a summer concert series, and exquisite cuisine offered in a variety of restaurants. The Sandestin Outlet Mall, one of the largest upper scale malls in the region, is located just 12 minutes from the cottage.
Flamingo Cottage has approximately 2800 square feet of living space. There are also four covered balconies with a screened master balcony that adds an additional 500 square feet for your entertainment pleasure. The first floor has 3 bedrooms. The largest is the master suite with a king size bed, queen sleeper sofa, large private bath with jacuzzi tub, two person shower, and private screened balcony. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a private balcony. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with a pull-out trundle. This bedroom also has a balcony. There is a second full bath on this floor. All bedrooms are fully furnished to include a TV, DVD, and telephone.
The second floor has a large den and kitchen as well as a second master with king bed that connects directly to the second floor bath. There is also a large laundry room/pantry with lots of shelves and a washer and dryer. For your convenience, the kitchen is fully-equipped with all major and minor appliances (especially a working blender!). The den has a television, stereo, DVD, a queen-size sleeper sofa and a beautiful view of the pool and Gulf of Mexico.
The third floor tower has a pub table, TV, DVD, and a queen sleeper sofa. Perhaps the most enjoyable thing about the tower is the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico and Draper Lake. The tower is an ideal spot for happy hour, quiet reading, or a nice place to send the kids to enjoy a movie, allowing the adults to have some quiet time!
The Flamingo cottage is no ordinary cottage. While vacationing you will enjoy many architectural amenities such stone tile, nine foot ceilings, crown molding throughout, corian counter-tops, recessed lighting and oak stair cases. The two car garage is 25x25 which will accommodate two of the largest SUVS or trucks. There is an outdoor shower available for your pleasure after your visit to the pool and beach.

Thank you to John and his family for sharing their beautiful home!! We had a terrific time and enjoyed how very close to the beach we were. It was also perfect that the pool was visible from the deck of this home. We had 3 families (6 adults, and 10 kids) and this home accommodated everyone very well!!! I would recommend this home to anyone.

The house was beautiful and in a wonderful area close enough to anything you desire to do. Santa Rosa Beach area is beautiful and is much less "commercialized" which made it more relaxing. We do wish we could have seen the beach from the house...it was further from the beach than we realized but was very close to the pool area which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The owner is very helpful and concerned that all is like it should be at the house for you to have a wonderful, relaxing vacation and the price is right.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

This cottage was beautiful....very beachy feel and location was excellent...The surf was rather rough so it was so nice to have the pool so close...30A is a lot of fun, we rode bikes every day.I would definitely recommend this quaint beach community to anyone looking for a nice place with great ammenities close by..The food at the redbar was amazing and gulfplace had a nice turtle festival that the grandkids enjoyed very much. We will definitely be coming back...this is by far the best place we have stayed...
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our experience at Flamingo Cottage was absolutely first rate. House is beautiful and well-equipped and a very short walk to the most awesome beach. Owners were immediately available by phone for 1 small maintenence issue. Would highly recommend and will definitely rent again in the future.

Dear Martins, Flamingo Cottage is a beautiful home. The home was illuminated with such bright beachy colored walls and decor. Flamingo Cottage was large enough for our family to have a reunion and it accommodated 16 just fine. The home has beautiful ocean views from the second and third floors and also gives you views of Draper Lake from within the home and from the balconies. Since the water was a little cool in December, the kids enjoyed fishing in Draper Lake from the docks. The home was well designed for parking which included two Suburbans in the garage and and four more regular sized cars in the driveway and the parking pad. The pool was wonderful and located directly out the back porch connecting to the property so you can see the kids swimming from the home. The entire community was safe for the kids to ride their bikes and play on the skateboards. The walk to the top of the beach was only 50 yards from the home which was big plus for our older family members. We had a wonderful time at your home and will be back, hopefully for the Summer so we can enjoy the beaches with a little warmer water. Thanks again for a wonderful time! The Sanders
