From the moment you enter our home you are immersed in Hawaiian art and contemporary architecture. Marble floors are throughout. The bathrooms and kitchen contain hand-selected marbles which bring warmth and comfort. The kitchen is a combination of art and functionality. The views are spectacular. We spent more than a year remodelling our home and believe you will find it to be very luxurious but yet very comfortable. When you enter our home you look up at a wonderful underwater seascape painted by a local Maui artist and throughout you will find art pieces which enrich our lives.
Kick off your shoes and relax in the living room while you watch television on a large HD flat panel TV. Or relax in the master or guest bedroom and enjoy the HD flat panel TVs. Press a button in any of the rooms and you can listen to the radio, one of two CD players, or the TV in the room of your choice. We have stocked one of the two CD players with our favorites and you can insert whatever you like in the second CD player. Open the sliding glass doors to the living room and bring the outside in. You will not find another Maui vacation rental property quite like this.
Located directly on Polo Beach. Polo Beach Club is one of the few properties in Maui within steps of the beach. Like all beaches in Hawaii, Polo Beach is open to the public but usually has a limited number of sunbathers and swimmers.
Our suite is located on the fourth floor on the north side of the building which provides views of the ocean, North Maui, and the wonderful coast line. During the summer months, the sunsets are spectacular. When the whales are in Maui waters, you can watch them right from your lanai. Our home has two bedrooms and two baths which sleeps four comfortably. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the guest bedroom contains two twin beds which can be converted into a king-size bed. The master bath has a walk-in shower and the guest bath has a full tub and shower.
If you enjoy cooking while on vacation, you will love the kitchen - large Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, Gagganeau stove top and oven, Miele dishwasher, espresso machine, and Kitchen Aid blender, food processor, and mixer. All of the kitchen tops are made from hand-selected granite. Serve dinner at the kitchen island while you cook or set up the lanai for a dinner at sunset. Out on the lanai you will find a large table that seats four and a spectacular view of Maui. If you enjoy barbecuing, gas barbecues are available on the property.
The pool and jacuzzi sit almost on top of the beach. So whether you lay on the beach or at the pool, you will still have the sounds and breeze of the ocean.
There is central air conditioning, fans in every room, and a full-size washer/dryer.
If you have never been to Wailea, you are in for a treat. Polo Beach Club is nestled among five-star hotels like the Grand Wailea Resort and the Four Seasons Resort, and sits next to the Fairmont Kai Lani Hotel.
But one of the best parts of Wailea and Polo Beach Club is the "Oceanfront Walk." A little less than two miles long, the path winds along the water's edge and leads to fantastic views, hotels, and the "Shops at Wailea" (the best shopping on Maui).

My thank you note to the owners: I just want to say thank you for opening up your Maui home to fortunate people such as us. Your home there is lovely! You did a beautiful job with the renovation, with furnishing and decorating, and in filling your home with much more than just the necessities! I had originally wished we had gotten a unit on the south side of the building, but on our first day there realized that the lanai was so pleasant and comfortable all day with no direct sun to make it hot. The north or west facing units are certainly the ones to be in! Whale watching on the lanai was a real treat – we saw so much activity every day. Most of the time we used binoculars for close-up viewing, but often you could easily see the tail-slapping and breaching with the naked eye, and on our last morning there we had a trio of whales so close to the beach that no binoculars were needed at all – we were sure the whales were coming to say Aloha! The beach, too, was wonderful – soft sand, good swimming, and fun waves at the right time of day. Although we didn’t go far into the cove just to the south while snorkeling, we spent some time on that rocky beach one afternoon to confirm the rumor that there were dozens of turtles there. I don’t know what brought so many of them in that afternoon, but they were there – just 6 or 8 feet from us at the edge of the water, being tossed around by the waves but righting themselves and continuing to feast or play or do whatever it was that brought so many of them so close to the shore! Thank you also for the basket of fruits and nuts. We arrived shortly after 9 PM, and these treats were welcome after a day of travel, especially having arrived late enough that we did not stop at the grocery store on our way in.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Polo Beach 408. The overall aesthetics of the unit far exceeded our expectations, especially the kitchen and bathrooms, both of which have a big "wow" factor. We enjoyed cooking our own meals in the gourmet kitchen and dining al fresco on the lanai. The whole unit is beautifully tiled and modernly updated to have all the conveniences of home including the stunning views from the master bedroom, living area and lanai. We will miss hearing the sound of the ocean as we relaxed in the evenings before bed and in the mornings as we enjoyed breakfasts on the lanai. We highly recommend it and would definitely like to return here again.
