You will be impressed with this cozy and extremely well-maintained townhome. Located in the great family and recreational area of King Beach, you will find this an exciting and great place to stay in any season. It is only minutes away from Northstar for winter skiing while for summer fun it is less than 1 mile from beautiful Lake Tahoe and Kings Beach State Recreational Area. It is also only a short drive to Truckee or the Nevada Stateline casinos and Incline Village.
This townhome is located in the desirable Kingswood Village complex, one of the best kept complexes in North Tahoe. The home has three levels with high beam ceilings. The entry level.
consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom. The master bedroom has its own deck overlooking the creek complete with lounge chairs to enjoy the sounds of the babbling brook and the scenic trees. This room has a queen bed and cable TV with VCR. The second bedroom also has a queen bed.
The second-story which consists of a living room, kitchen, den, and eating area will prove to be a perfect gathering place. With a granite stone fireplace, comfortable sectional sofa and cable 40 inch flat panel TV and home theater this room is ideal for family gathering and relaxing. There is also an IPOD docking station. The kitchen includes all your cooking needs with all newer appliances. A large dining table offers space for any size group. The den provides for a nice reading nook during the day, and at night its sofa bed opens to a full-size bed. Located off living room is a the second deck which also looks off to the babbling creek and forest beyond. This deck has a gas barbecue grill and great picnic table for family dinners. It
is the perfect spot enjoying your morning coffee and the fresh air of Lake Tahoe. The loft has a comfortable double bed and one roll away bed which is left in the closet for any other extra guests.
The Kingwood Village complex includes a pool complete with a childrens wading pool (this area is open summers only), ping-pong, horseshoes and three tennis courts. Seperate men and womans dry saunas as well as a small exercise room are available year round. My wife and I stayed here for a week in August, 2011 and had a great time. Centrally located to Tahoe City as well as Incline Village and Sand Harbor beach (the best beach in Tahoe). Nice trail close bye for running, biking, walking, etc. The unit is large and sits right next to a creek, which is great when hanging out on one of the two decks. I would highly recommend this unit.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.
