Makena Surf F210 is a luxurious, secluded, beachfront condominium located in the exclusive Makena Surf Resort. This is a gated, low-rise community complete with lush tropical gardens, and with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. Directly across the road are the famous Wailea and Makena Golf Courses. A picturesque beach fronts the property where many weddings take place because of its romantic setting; and families enjoy many water activities or just playing on the beach. Makena Surf F210's lanai provides the perfect spot to watch the many humpback whales in season (November through March).
Also from the lanai you can see lots of turtles--a great place to snorkel or dive. One of the best dive areas on Maui (Five Caves) is less than 1/4 mile away. Makena Surf F210's spacious (1564 square feet.) interior is comfortably decorated with island-style furniture and a tropical feeling throughout. Free long distance phone (US and Canada) and internet service are provided. The private lanai offers 180-degree views of five islands and breathtaking sunsets.

We loved our stay at this peaceful property!! Just a short walk to the beach from front door down to snorkel with the turtles~ Has everything you need to enjoy a great vacation with family and friends! We highly recommend this property!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

What a slice of paradise. Everything about Makena Surf is beyond your imagination. The condo was amazing and comfortable, the view is to die for and the beaches . . . Well there is not a word the can describe how beautiful and quiet. Swim with the turtles, snorkel, boogie board, and just sun bathe -- although we didnt get to meet the owners personally, we spoke on the phone several times. They made sure our stay was just as we expected. They obviously care that you are comfortable. I would highly recommend Makena Surf 210. You can't go wrong.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Our stay at Makena Surf was absolutely wonderful. The unit itself was more than adequate to take care of four people. Another couple who was traveling with us, stayed in the guest room and we all had more than enough room. One of the first things that comes to mind, was our time spent out on the lanai watching sunrises and sunsets, as well as our late evenings out there listening to the sound of the ocean while playing cards, or just drinking wine and listening to the sounds of the night. We spent alot of time traveling the island, and as normal, our favorite place is still Wailea! This was our third trip and hopefully we will be back before the end of 2012. If anyone is out there hesitating on this unit, DON'T, .....it is a real MUST!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Anytime of day is great, but mornings and evenings on the lanai are really special. A great place to share with friends.

Year Purchased: 1988
About the owner: We live in Belmont, CA, and also spend time in Palm Desert during the winter months. We own our Makena Surf F210 unit as a family (our 3 children and their spouses). We have 8 grandchildren. We are able to enjoy 1-2 months there every year. Between golf and scuba diving we can keep busy, but also make time to relax on the lanai, the beach, or at the pool.
Why the Owner Chose Makena:
We found our unit (F210) at Makena Surf in 1988. At that time we had owned a place in Kihei for about 10 years, and had wanted to find a place right on the water. We couldn't have found a more perfect spot--just a grass lawn between us and the ocean! Looking out at the beautiful 180-degree view every morning is pure heaven. Also from our lanai we have 'front-row-center' seats for the sunsets. A very short walkway through the tropical gardens gets us to the expansive beach. We love the privacy we have as a second floor unit (and only 8 steps up)--we don't have anyone walking in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, as happens on the first level units. (And we also don't have the additional 2 flights of stairs up to the third level!)
