Our family had a wonderful experience on St George. Mary's house was perfect for our beach vacation; the beach is a short walk from the house, and the private pool and hot tub were great for playing and a relaxing soak. We saw a handful of dolphins swimming and feeding right from the very white, very clean beach. The sand is picture perfect and the beach is one of the best in Florida. We made a day trip to historic Apalachicola which is a very short drive. My daughters and I enjoyed exploring the historic boutiques and we found the oysters and seafood to be out of this world- very "old Florida" feel. The only pitfall was that our vacation had to end! We will be back!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
