Back of Cabin - Home in the Heart of Minnesota Lakes Country This is a wonderful vacation get-away on one of Ottertail Counties many beautiful lakes. You will be surrounded by three lakes in the heart of Minnesota lakes country on 60 acres of private land in an all cedar log home built in 2005. The cabin has two bedrooms on the main floor and two on the upper level all with queen-size log beds. There is also a full-size futon in the loft,a hide-a-bed couch in the walkout basement and each of three floors has its own full bathroom. The walkout basement also includes a TV room, and rec room including pool table, and a small bar. In the warmer months, you can enjoy the great fishing of Big McDonald Lake from your private dock, or you might want to bring your own boat. You will also enjoy the private one and a half mile walking trail for hiking and wrap around deck with patio set. In the winter months you may want to take advantage of the many groomed snowmobile trails the area has to offer, and end your day in the outdoor hot tub. The surrounding area has much to offer, including a short drive to Maplewood State Park and a variety of restaurants, bars, gift shops and other shopping.
