My daughter and I were looking for a place in Key West to relax for a a week and the Town Oasis was perfect. The unit itself was bright and clean with large bedrooms and bathrooms. While it didn't have a balcony facing the water, our balcony still had a perfect view of sunset at night. The pool area was great and there were always chairs available. The location was close to Duval Street so no car was required. Shel greeted us and showed us around and we certainly felt that we could call if there was anything we needed. I'm sure we will stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This was the third year my husband and I spent 6 or more weeks in this wonderful condo. We love Key West but it can be a bit noisy. This unit is only about 3 blocks off Duval Street but is completely quiet. The unit itself is very comfortable and exactly as pictured. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and the kitchen is outfitted with every appliance you could need. Management is very responsive. Shel Segal the Guest services Coordinator reponds immediately to email or voice messages. You can walk out the back gate and be right on the water and walk 10 minutes to Mallory Square. We walked everywhere. The only time we took the car out was to go to Publix. We love this unit!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a great time staying in Key West! The living room and bedrooms were very nice and big making it easy to gather in them when we had some down time. The kitchen was narrow but very functional. We even made our Thanksgiving dinner in it! The bathrooms were clean with plenty of room to put things around the sink. As far as things that could be improved there really werent many at all. But I would say to get the speakers in the living room and the ice machine on the freezer fixed. Another thing that was kind of annoying was getting into the Truman Annex complex. The gates are locked at 6:00 PM so getting in after a night out was sometimes difficult. Other than that we would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice spot in Key West! CheersDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My wife and I spent Labor Day Weekend in Key West. This is a terrific 2 Bedroom Unit with easy access to everything you want to do. Last Key Realty did a great job and Shel was very helpful. We will come back! We rented bicycles and an electric golf cart during our stay. It was very nice to see water and the cruise ships from the balcony.Did you find this review helpful? We are a family of four adult women and we had the best time staying in this condo. Somehow...even though they are beautiful, the pictures do not do the condo justice! It looks exactly like the photos and is even betten in person. The pool was just downstairs, we got to watch lizards scoot around and waited for the iguana to make his daily walk from one side of the gardens to the other. The area around the pool was very lush, there were plenty of chairs, though there could be some competition for chairs in the shade. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships come and go, some were louder than others, but are not worth complaining about and certainly should not keep people away from this great place. It was a quick walk to Duval and Mallory Square- but we really did not venture too far from the condo - it is really hot in Key West in July! The condo was very well appointed, we had all the luxuries of home and so we made a lot of meals there. We did go to a few restaurants: Lobos - hidden, delicious, outside, it was really hot sitting there though Cheeseburger - good burgers, not much else to say Southernmost Beach Cafe - Go for breakfast, stay for the view Sarahbeths - good service, good food, homey atmosphere Island Dogs Bar - not worth the trip Mattheessens - Best cookies ever, brownies were too cakey for our liking We used Five 6's taxi the whole time we were there - they were really rude and on several occasions other people took our cabs and dispatch acted like we were pests for asking for another cab - avoid them if you can. You really do not need a car if you stay here - the first day we took a taxi to and from the new Publix, fantastic by the way, and then picked up odds and ends for our second week at Fautsos, which is pricey and has a limited selection - I would spend the money on a cab and go to publix. I hate to even complain, but there were a couple of things we did not like about the condo - the master bedroom is warmer then the whole rest of the condo, so for those in there to be cool, everyone else is cold and the bed in the master was hard, after 2 weeks, my bad back was aching. Also a few times the garbage room was full and the hallways started to smell - this is not a reflection on the condo or its owners, but of the management The good really does more than outweigh the bad - go and enjoy the Oasis - it is a wonderful spot!Owner response: We're always pleased when our guest have a great time at one of our homes. It's why we're in the hospitality business. We also take constructive comments very much to heart, and in fact encourage our guests to tell us about even the smallest problem so we can fix it while they are there, instead of after the fact. We pride ourselves in taking swift action to keep our guests 100% satisfied. We've already arranged for our service people to balance the A/C system to compensate for the fact that the master bedroom is on the sunnier south side of the condo. We've also purchased a Tempurpedic style memory foam topper for the master bed, and have talked to the homeowner's association about more frequent garbage pickups.

Beautiful and secure condo. Very quite but only steps away from all the action. Truman's Little White House right in your back yard and the gulf in the front. Very large and clean pool. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and relatives.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Actually this is the second year we stayed in this unit and we have contracted to visit again in 2013. The pictures and description provided in the listing realistically portray this unit. It is very comfortable. The kitchen is equiped with evertything you could need. The location is wonderful. It is about three blocks from Duval Street and all its hustle and bustle and restaurants and yet the area is very quiet. Out the back gate and you are on the waterfront promenade and a few minutes from Mallory Square. The Truman Winter Whitehouse is just across the driveway. Lastly, the management is very attentive and responds quickly to any concerns you may have. We love this unit!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed Harbor Place condo. We liked it so much that we've already booked our next stay there. Located in the peaceful Truman Annex and centrally located to all the amenities Key West has to offer. We won't be staying anywhere else! The staff is very friendly and helpful and was a great resource for bike rentals, etc. They took care of everything for us!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our first visit to Key West. Truman Annex turned out to be a perfect location - a great beginning and ending point to our bike rides out into the city. The condo is beautiful; everything seemed new and the whole atmosphere was really cozy. Our only glitch the entire stay was a TV with closed captioning and no way to remove it but this was just a minor annoyance. Who has time to watch television in Key West! Our rental agent made sure our bikes were rented and waiting for us at the property so we could start exploring right away. Our favorite meal: the breakfasts at Blue Heaven - the key lime bernaise on their Eggs Benedict is to die for!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Home was very bright, spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was a decent size. We did not utilize the second bedroom or the bathroom right beside it, but we did look at it and thought it would be perfect for kids since it was farther from the living area (in case the adults are up later and are loud) and a decent size TV with DVD player as well. The Truman annex area is the nicest area of key west i have stayed in (This was my fourth visit). The location could not be more perfect... co close to mallory square area but so so quiet. I would highly recommend it for two couples or small family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We absolutely loved this property and it more then lived up to our already high expectations. The location is second to none, we had the shared pool all to ourselves most days and the condo is furnished to a very high standard with the addition of all the little extras that make it seem a home from home eg coffee maker, washer and dryer etc We are already saving up for a return visit as we truly din't want to leave! We recently stayed at this property (2 adults and 2 children) and found the furnishings and amenities top notch…a home away from home. The pool and grounds are well maintained. The pool overlooks the water and marina, allowing you to observe the spectacular sunsets in addition to the beautiful ships visiting Key West. The property’s location is within walking distance to all of Key West’s attractions (including the Mallory Square Sunset Celebration) and best restaurants. The owners are very hospitable, ensuring your visit is a positive one. We highly recommend this property for those looking to experience all Key West has to offer.Did you find this review helpful? we stayed over christmas 2005 and had a great time (not easy with two 20 year old daughters home from college). the unit was immaculate and had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. we arrived after dark and pleasantly surprised when we looked out in the morning and saw a large and beautiful cruise ship as our neighbor. although not necessary, it was nice to be in the secure truman annex neighborhood. loved everything about it!Did you find this review helpful?
