We stayed 1/21/11-1/24/11 at this delightful condo. The owners were great about prior communications. Very professional, easy to work with. The space is fabulous, lots of light, lots of room and every cooking implement one could hope for. The hot tub was perfect for soaking at the end of the day. We appreciated the fireplace for warming up as well. I would love another stay!

This Schweitzer condo is a great location and a good value. Nothing too fancy here, but clean and well cared for. It has all the amenities anyone could need. The location is "true and easy" ski in and ski out and is very close to the village, where several restauranst and shops are available. Outdoor parking is provided, but spots are not assigned. This is no problem, except for New Years Eve, when suddenly many cars appeared in the lot. This property is ideal for a family with children, or two famlies with small children sharing the bedroom. If you are more than four adults you may be sharing bedrooms and beds. The owners are easy to reach and quick to get back to you with any advise or support you may need. I would recommend this property for a great ski vaction or a summer hiking get away.

Comfortable, well appointed, and truly ski in/ski out

We have rented this condo the past four years. We love it because it’s very home-like and comfortable, there’s plenty of room for all the gear, and it is truly ski in /ski out. If you’re willing to traverse the hill behind the condo, you can easily ski to the front door. From the front door, you can ski the 100 feet to the cat track if there’s snow on the parking lot. The cat track runs directly into the village and the bottom of the two quads. The condo easily and comfortably sleeps 8 people in two upstairs bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and double; bedroom 2 has twin bunk beds and another double. It could sleep 9 if you put someone on the couch. The bedrooms are nicely isolated from the main part of the house. Early risers can make coffee, run the dishwasher, and walk about without waking those sleeping in. The house has ample storage. The upstairs bedrooms each have a large closet, and there are also two closets in the upstairs bathroom. The laundry area has a dozen hooks for hanging wet ski gear, another closet, and an outside porch that's ideal for storing cases of cold beverages. The entry way has another closet, racks for hanging skis/poles, and room for boards. We have stayed with 8 skiers/boarders, some of whom brought multiple pairs of skis or brought both skis and a board. The entry way is shared with the owners who have a studio apartment on the ground floor. Although it gets a bit crowded with the owners’ skis and all of our skis and boards, it was workable. The hot tub is indoors, off the entry on the ground floor. There’s a large window so you can watch the weather while soaking. The owners keep the hot tub set at 103F, and it is quite comfortable. The hot tub room is well supplied with towels. The house is well equipped and clean. The kitchen includes plastic wrap, foil, baggies, plastic storage containers, and coffee filters. There is plenty of glassware, dishes, and flatware. Appliances include a toaster oven, coffee maker, popcorn popper, and a slow cooker. The dishwasher soap, dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, and garbage bags are abundant, unlike some other rentals where we’ve had to replenish the stock from the local store before our visit was over. Although we don’t have young children, we have noticed that there is a separate TV / VCR and a small supply of children’s videos in the upstairs bedrooms. The living room also has a nice supply of games. Lastly, the owners have been great to work with.
