  This is our 6th stay in this unit and we look forward to returning every year including 2014. It is so nice to know what you are going back to. To know what's in the bedroom, what's in the kitchen & bath etc. Every year we are so relaxed knowing. The beach does not need an explanation, other than there is no other like it on any of the other islands. On the busiest of days you might count 100 people. That is why we love the Princess at Makaha. Off the tourist radar!! The suite is always clean and very well equipped and if we need anything, the owners are happy to rectify immediately. We love several local restaurants just a mile or so away..Tacos and More make the most delicious home made Mexican Food for sure and our Thai Restaurant that we cannot get enough of is Spicy House Thai just 4 miles down the road. I took 17 people there for my husband's birthday this year. The total cost including tax/tip was $326.00...WOW! no wonder we keep going back for their fantastic menu. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. It is a secret oasis! I hope we can keep it this way for a long time....aloha until next year. P & H. Vancouver Island

  Liked it so much we staye for six weeks and would have liked to stay longer. Unit is far from the urban congestion in or around Honnolulu, so you have a more original Hawaiian experience. However the city and large resorts and shopping areas aren't too far to acces. View from the condo (9th floor) is amazing. You are right on the beach. Turtles, dolphins, and whales (in season) are just off shore and easy to spot from this height. The unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a king bed. This is the most beach we have seen and we have seen many all over the world. Hope to return many times.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

  The building is in a truly stunning, very private setting. The beach is gorgeous and has few people, and the water is warm and gentle. Turtles swim by all day, and from our 9th floor lanai we saw humpback whales and a school of dolphins. The sunsets were incredible, and the park with nature walk at the 'end of the road' on the west side was amazing. The building itself is getting old. One of the 2 elevators is apparently out of service for months, so there is a long wait. (This wasn't a big deal to us. We use the stairs for exercise anyway. But one day the working elevator was down for several hours.) The swimming pool is beautiful but way too cold. The showers used to get sand off were broken for several hours one day. Our unit was beautiful, but most of the appliances and the lanai furniture need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear. The Staff is very nice and helpful, though they might be a bit more informative about local things. (Example: After check out at 10:00am, on our way to the airport, we were delayed by a local parade that we could have easily planned around. Why not post a sign telling folks going anywhere that day?) Would I go back? I cannot wait to go back. This is one of the most relaxing places we've been.

So sorry about the elevators, they needed to be replaced and they are now in working order for your next trip back. My property manager will inspect the unit and replace whatever is not working properly. We are going to be getting a flat screen TV as well. We hope you return to Oahu soon!   I brought my 17 year old son and 14 year old daughter here in April 2006 for the third time in 18 months. We love it here. The beach is beautiful and you start to feel it is your home away from home, which is Ohio. The people are so kind and I would always come here before Waikiki. Also my son lives down the street which makes it extra special! There's no place like Makaha.

  Melissa.. We had such a great time at your condo!! The Hawaiian Princess is just the perfect spot for what we enjoy about Hawaii..(clean, uncrowded beaches, gorgeous sunsets, wonderful lanai) Your condo was exactly what we expected!!! Excellent.. We lived on Oahu for 8 years in the 80's and have been back many times, but I have to say this was the most enjoyable, comfortable visit we've ever had. Thanks a million..   Welcome to Paradise! My husband and I have been coming to the Hawaiian Princess in Makaha for the past five years and fell in love. This is truly a very special place and we know that you will enjoy it as much as we do! We have traveled a lot and have never come across a more beautiful beach. The sunsets are truly amazing and in the winter you can experience spectacular waterfalls! The people in Makaha are warm and friendly and it is like going back in time. Even the sea turtles are tame and friendly! This place is truly a unique find and we know you will fall in love with it as we did. A great experience awaits you! Mahalo
