This is a beautiful, very private house sitting on 8 acres on the beach. The sunsets are spectacular, and the view from the deck is the ocean and Niihau. A short walk and you're on a gorgeous beach where you can watch surfers at the popular surf spot, Infinity, also known as Pakala.
If you are looking for a place where you can just rest and relax, this is it! Besides the 2 spacious bedrooms & baths, there is a fully-equipped kitchen, living room and family room as well as a deck with a table and chairs where you can enjoy meals outdoors. There are 2 picnic tables under the banyan tree as well.
There are many boat tours of the Na Pali coastline nearby and the road to Waimea Canyon and Kalalau Lookout are just minutes away as well. We are descendants of the Sinclair/Robinson family who arrived in 1864 and purchased the island of Niihau from King Kamehameha V. The land where this house sits and all the surrounding lands, the ahupua'a of Makaweli, was purchased from Victoria Kamamalu, granddaughter of King Kamehameha I, a few years later. We offer a taste of Old Hawai'i here in Makaweli.
