This rental is really not worth the money. There are so many problems with the property. The grill is shot and can not be used (so don't buy any food to grill prior to getting to the property.) The microwave door handle is broken, chairs on the deck leave a lot to be desired. (two of them are broken). Upstairs decks can't be used, they have pigeon droppings all over them and the chairs are broken. All the showers have mold in them. Lights don''t work on deck and on and on. There are many great vacation rentals on Tybee and I suggest you try another. We come to the area at least twice a year and have never stayed in a place like this. Guess you get what you play for.
Owner response:We are very sorry that their stay was unstatisfactory as we make every effort to make sure the appliances and unit are clean and in good and working order. The items mentioned above needing repair were disclosed in our "Tybee Rules and Information" The grill is provided to renters as a convenience/nice to have item, however, since they are against the fire code, we have removed the grill in order to be in compliance. Renters are welcome to use a grill in the parking lot as do the other renters in the building. We believe our rates are very reasonable considering the amenities and location and we have had many years of statisfied renters and demonstrated by 10 other perfect reviews. We love Tybee for the culture and ambiance as do 99.9% of our renters and we hope that others are not deterred by one renters "bad" experience.

I can't say enough good things about my stay at this condo. I went down with my 14 year old son for a few days of R&R and got just that! We had family pop in and out ranging in age from 1 to 70 and it was comfortable for all of us. The condo has all the amenities you could possibly need including a blender, a coffee maker, wine opener and more. We started each day with a pot of coffee (for me) and cereal for my son consumed sitting on the rockers on the porch. What a great way to start our day. We then took the short walk to the beach where we enjoyed sun, sand, waves and good company. At sundown we ventured back to the porch for appetizers and people watching. Restaurants are just a short walk away as is "cheesy" shopping - which we enjoyed each night. The condo, with it's great locations and accommodations is perfect for everyone. I can't wait to get back there!

We have rented this unit several times and we are ALWAYS very happy! The owners are very kind and helpful and we just adore this condo. If I could afford a condo, I would want one just like this. It is in the perfect location on the Island. The photos of the unit are accurate and everything has always been clean and lovely :}

My family stayed at this property in July 2008. It was comfortable, convenient, and up to date. We throughly enjoyed our stay. This is a family community and everyone was friendly. The beach is located a short walk away and beautiful! Savannah was a nice drive and there were lots of activities to keep everyone from 2yrs to 60+ yrs occupied and entertained.

Your "Tybee Condo" was the perfect place to host our "Northern guests", during our Savannah "destination wedding". I began having "second thoughts" on our way down to GA, that our accomodations may have been "too out of the way". It became apparent upon arrival, that it was a spectacular choice. Thanks for sharing your place with us!!!

Condo was lovely, spacious, convenient, quiet, and just what we wanted (I had feared it would be in a large complex, but it is just a 4 unit building with parking underneath). Having the DVD/TV in separate room with pocket doors was perfect way for the kids to safely separate themselves from the adults. Highly recommended.

Beautiful 3/4 bedroom, 3 bath townhouse on Tybee Island. Close to the beach on the beachside of Butler Avenue (no roads to cross to get to the beach!). Brand new in May 2005, all new appliances and furniture. Also offers handicapped access via the elevator. For information, call (678)923-4160.
