Simple pleasures and simplistic beauty is what you'll fine at The Rookery. It is a small development of single and duplex cottages beautifully situated in a wildlife preserve community. We are located on the bay side of Fort Morgan Peninsula across the street from the beach and just 4 miles to Fort Morgan Marina. The Rookery provides the privacy and security of being a cul-de-sac with no access for traffic or pedestrians other than residents/guests in the resort area. There is private parking in front of the cottage.
The Rookery is located about 14 miles down Hwy 180, Fort Morgan Road, on the right. You will pass the Plantation, Beach Club Resort and Morgan Town. The entrance to The Rookery is on the left as you pass mile marker 6. Come into The Rookery, cross a small bridge and take a right, bare to the right of the cul-de-sac and our cottage is the light blue duplex. Cottage #3001.
Activities in and around The Rookery include: Fishing, boating, deep sea fishing...just 4 miles to Fort Morgan Marina, golfing at Kiva Dunes or The Peninsula within minutes; shopping at the famous Tanger Outlets, Pottery Barn, local unique clothing and gift shops...etc; family fun activities at Waterville USA, Track Recreation Center, Pirates Island Adventure, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge and the new Orange Beach Wharf Amphitheater.
