At Sea Shells, discerning guests will luxuriate in a contemporary-styled and privacy gated home with one acre of lushly landscaped grounds. The Great Room of Sea Shells Beach Estate opens to the outdoor patio and pool and has cathedral ceilings with 2 lounging areas in addition to an entertainment center with CD surround sound, DVD, HD DVR, and large television with premium channels and digital reception.
The kitchen has just been re-stocked with all new supplies and small appliances commensurate with luxury standards, including an espresso machine, coffee grinder, abundant service-ware, red and white wine glasses, champagne flutes, martini glasses, Henckel knives, top quality cookware, and so much more to use and enjoy!
Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own private en-suite bathroom and entertainment system. A convenient office nook provides a large desk, an iMac computer ready for guest use, Ethernet cable to hook into the high speed cable modem, office supply, fax and brand new multi-function office machine. The large laundry room has an abundant supply of beach towels and a half bath. Use of the garage is available.
A hop and skip from Sea Shells is a beach front kiosk which rents ocean sports equipment, including surf boards, boogie boards, skim boards, hobie cats and snorkel sets. During summer months, jet skis may be rented in front of the Hyatt Hotel. The charming Sugar Cane Train depot is within walking distance. A convenient beach front restaurant, Castaway, is adjacent to the kiosk serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual beach front setting.
The primary Kaanapali Resort hotels as well as Whaler's Village Shopping Center and its many restaurants which feature live music on the beach can be reached within 1-2 minutes by car or on foot if you hike down the beach through the Sheraton Kaanapali Resort and along a paved pedestrian walking promenade that hugs the beach. We are here from Wisconsin and this was a trip of a lifetime for us. We are celebrating birthdays and it has been something to remember always. There are so many wonderful testimonials about the pool and the ocean and the views and we agree with all of them and would simply add that your home feels like a home, it is warm and welcome and gracefully decorated.It was everything we dreamed of and planned for - our hope came true! By reading all of the other testimonials in this book we do not have many more superlatives to add, except it was comfortable at-ease living. Thank you. We are all very sad to leave tonight. Last day in paradise. Hate to pack. Walking around in short sleeve top. Going home to socks, jeans, long sleeve top with sweatshirt and jacket - burrrrr. Love the place. Awesome! Three of our adult children joined us for a wonderful week of hiking, snorkeling out front and on Lana`i Island, sailing, diving, and lounging by the pool - we are all sad as we contemplate our departure today. So pleased to rent your beautiful house on Kaanapali Beach. It is a true paradise! The home is even more beautiful in person. We had a simply magical vacation and would recommend Tropical Villa Vacations. Our family enjoyed many, many hours by the pool, many mornings whale watching, and spent lots of time snorkeling on the beach. We enjoyed lots of activities (thanks to Concierge Yvonne's recommendations). We feel we came to know Maui well....this house became our home away from home for two weeks.
