  my wife, kids (aged 4 and 8) and i stayed our first week in molokai at this unit. we couldn't have been happier. the unit was clean, well-stocked, and located close to the beach and pool. the condo complex was quiet and residents/guests friendly and helpful. both prior to arriving and during our stay, mick and dorothy were very responsive to our questions and requests. we highly recommend both this unit and it's owners for a small family like ours.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  A friend and I had stayed for 2 nights in the Condo and thought we made a good choice. Though the place was further away from the main town, the view was perfect. The amenities in the home, furniture was comfortable. They had everything you needed from beach necessity to cooking a meal for yourself. I'd definitely recommend the place to anyone who'd want to rent it out. Just make sure you head in to town first to get all the food you'll need or there's always the Cookhouse which is a short drive away:)

• Great Condo on Molokai!

  We stayed at this great condo for 10 nights while visiting Molokai for the first time. The condo was very clean, had lots of great cooking utensils and beach chairs for use. The open air condo (had lockable wooden screen doors to the lanai, but no window glass) was great and allowed the breeze to keep the condo cool and enjoyable. We enjoyed many dinners on the lanai watching the sunset. The condo complex is quiet, very well cared for (minus the abandoned hotel complex) and had great BBQ areas. I recommend hiking to Make Horse Beach and the beach at the abandoned Molokai Ranch’s Beach Village - both were great beaches! We definitely will be back to Molokai and staying at this condo!

  This is a beautiful condo with a fantastic view. This is our 3rd trip to Molokai and this is our favorite condo we've stayed in by far. The bed is very comfortable. The parking is directly in front of the condo so it makes it easy to haul luggage and groceries in. The furnishings are nice as well. This is an all around great condo to vacation in. We would like to stay here again next time we come to Molokai.

  We loved staying at your condo. It had everything that we needed. We ate all our meals on your lanai. The location and view of the ocean was amazing. We did some hiking to the beaches to the north and they were almost deserted and so beautiful. We hope to come back and stay at your condo again in the future hopefully for a longer visit. Thanks again.

  Thanks Dorothy and Mick for sharing your loft studio condo with us. It was meticulously cared for and immaculate. The ads and photos do it justice, except for the ocean just beyond the common area which is spectacular. Kaluakoi has some of the most spectacular beaches in the islands, all within a 5 mile drive (well a 2 mile drive). Ocean entry can be a little daunting due to rocks and surf, but when high pressure moves in and the wind eases, there are a number of sandy stretches with access. Molokai is for the adventuresome, but the condo made the stay pretty civilized. Our only complaint was more or less constant noise from groundskeepers, but on the other hand the grounds were beautiful kept, with a Bird of Paradise plant right along the entrance. We'll come back.

  My fiance and I just returned from a week's stay on Molokai and your condo. It was exactly as show here - cozy, clean and had every kitchen tool possible I think, which was nice since we cooked almost every meal. This area of Molokai has little in terms of dining out without having to drive at least 15 minutes (which can be alot when you're hungry). Just one thing I wish we had known - on Sunday, there is very little open. We got into town around 2:30 - 3 pm and all the groceries were closed except the Health Food store and the liquor store. Which both had enough of what we wanted to keep us going for the evening but be aware of this situation. Other than that, Molokai was exactly what we wanted and Dorothy's condo was our home away from home. We found the washer and dryer in the unit especially wonderful.Dorothy, thanks for all the Aloha!! Thanks again!!

  We had a wonderful time in your nicely furnished and comfortable condo. The view from the lanai was great, and besides the beautiful sunsets, we also enjoyed watching the huge waves crash on the cliff to the south. We appreciated the island info sheet you sent us and found the Maui/Moloka'i guide book in the living room very helpful--we referred to it every day for planning our daily outings. We hope to return in the future! :D

  Mick & Dorothy, we loved your condo. It was like home away from home. You thought of everything, we needed for nothing. As you said, we could sit on the lanai and watch the whales. You were a pleasure to deal with and we would definitely stay again and would recommend your condo to friends and family. Hope to visit again soon!
