Home looking from lake - Traverse City, Michigan Real Estate This charming lakeside home, called "Loon Landing" is in an ideal setting with towering maples, birch trees and pines providing shade for the entire backyard. The children will love playing by the lake while the adults can enjoy sitting an sunning by the lake with the cool breeze blowing on the beautiful lakeside sunning deck. There is a small area of beach and then you can enter the shallow lake for swimming. There is also a long private dock for your boat. Duck Lake is an all-sports 1,930 acre lake, located just 12 miles southwest of downtown Traverse City and it provides boating and fishing enjoyment for the the entire family. If you don't have a boat, you can rent one from any number of companies in the area that will deliver to the lake. This gorgeous air conditioned home accommodates a total of 16 maximum (11 in house and 4 above garage in extra room) and provides every amenity for your relaxation and entertainment while staying at "Loon Landing." A huge, fully equipped, eat-in kitchen, with cathedral ceiling, provides the ideal place to congregate and prepare family meals. A living/great room area is furnished for enjoying the stone fireplace and cable TV and later on converts to sleeping in sofa beds, for four people. Beyond the living area is a glass-enclosed sunroom to sit and enjoy the beauty of the lake and beautiful yard. A large deck off the sunroom provides additional dining space and is equipped with a gas grill. The master queen bedroom suite contains a private master bath with corner garden tub. Two additional bedrooms are at the other end of the house and are furnished with a queen bed in the one and with a queen and twin in the other. Central bath accommodates both bedrooms. Extra sleeping over the 11 in the house is provided "camp-style"in the completely furnished room over the garage which contains a full futon and two twin beds. This room provides air conditioned sleeping for four additional people;cable TV provided. Bathroom facilities are not in the garage but are located inside the house next to the garage. This home is on a long peninsula which provides quiet, safe biking and walking for the entire family, with lake views all around. There are also tennis courts in the park, and the community boat launch is located a short distance away. After a long day taking in the activities of the area, come home to sit around the fire pit while you share memories with your group. For the pleasure of all of our guests, we regret that smoking and pets will not be permitted.

Over 27 golf courses provide challenging games for the golfer in the family, and boutique shopping and fine restaurants in downtown Traverse City provide a great place to spend the afternoon. Casinos are within 1/2 hour drive, and Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore recreation area is also 25 minutes away.

25% non-refundable deposit required to book which will be credited towards
balance due Monday before arrival, but forfeited if cancelled. 6% tax
and $100 (1/2 refundable) cleaning/damage deposit required.
